The electoral college is good for the United States because half of the citizens of this country don't even know who's best fit to run the country. Many people are ignorant, and vote for whomever is the 'best speaker' or 'wants change'. LOL. Get a clue.

Legalizing Marijuana is the biggest waste of good argumentative skills anyone could put up a fight for. Keep that green plant outa my *bleep*ing face. I ain't no easy-going Europian from Amsterdam. If you want your marijuna, hit up your local drug dealer and pay him $10 for a dime. Keep or military thumb out of world affairs? We already did that once, it was called World War II. Until France gave themselves up and Britian was starting to lose strength. We had to step in. If the United States didn't try to keep the world at a relative ease, terrorists would be havin the biggest riot of their lifetime. They'd be buyin budweiser beer, (the 18 year olds that is, legally), gettin totally hammered drunk and goin on killin sprees. After hours of murdering hundreds of Isralis, they'd come back to their free healthcare system to get fixed up and figure out how to improve military spending and keep gay marriage illegal.

- Stay the *bleep* out of other countries. A THREAT is NOT a justification to attack. That's like saying I can slap someone if they looked at me wrong.
- TAX the rich, not the poor.

There is no way to make the US a better nation without the government getting a personality change.

Immigrants should not join the United States Military for 4 years because they don't want to fight. They have no inclination to fight, and only come to America to work, and find a better life.

Its kind of like the kid at McDonalds that only works there because he has a few bills to pay. Once the clock hits 5, he's out the door, 'Thank god that's over' He's only there to benefit his own interests. Instead of the Manager at McDonalds that loves how the restaurant is improving and running smoothly. He has a well-oiled machine on his hands, proud of his achievements and will continue to strive hard in the future. It's a difference of loving your job and hating it. Anyone who loves it will always pursue what's best for it.

Many immigrants don't speak proper english. This could lead to confusion on the battle field and marines would not like that. Full pardons do not work, and it has been done before. In 1986, over 3 million illegal immigrants were given full amnesties from the U.S. Government, and they instantly became legal U.S. Citizens. Now, sit back and ask yourself, since 1986, has immigration gotten worse since the pardoning of these 3 million illegals, or has it gotten better? Hint: There are now 13 million illegal immigrations in the United States of 2008. (Not counting the 3 million given amnesty)

Should
Improve education in our schools.
Make immigration policies a vital issue to fix.
Cut spending and special interest earmarks.

I put ideas you and Spirit wanted accomplished into a terrorist scenario. Free healthcare, increased military spending, gay marriage, and 18 year old drinking age. It was only sarcasm.

Actually, I want to cut military spending, and I prefer the drinking age as it is now.

I do think free health care would be better than what we have now, but I think a wise transition should be implemented first.

Tax the rich who cannot bother to pay their hard workers enough to take care of themselves. Their greed should not make the nation as a whole suffer.

Look at Costco. They offer their employees great benefits, and they are one of the leading businesses out there.
