Just stumbled across this forum, so hello folks! Anyway, to be on topic, I support Obama/Biden 08. I disagree with most of McCain's views, and Palin to be entirely honest scares the heck out of me, but if McCain wins he's in charge not her, so I'm not too worried in that regard. I'm not one of the people who thinks he'll keel over any minute, I just disagree greatly with him on a policy level. I see the Obama/Biden ticket as the team that is bringing real change, and is actually addressing the issues, but anything is a improvement over Bush. In regards to the last couple of pages, yeah, O'Reilly is a A-hole to be sure. Did anyone see the ladies on the View hammering McCain? I found that more than a little hilarious, and I was sad at the same time that they were about the toughest interview he's had to handle for a while.

Wait wait, a reasonable discussion and a ability to use humor in political discussions? Isn't that against one of the Sacred Laws of the Internet? Anyway, should be interesting to see the VP debate not too far from now.

The View was kind of interesting. Doesn't matter to me. I'm voting differently this time around.

hah! Hillary in office sounds much better than Obama. I do disagree with her on many issues, especially Universal Healthcare and forcing it upon business owners, ahh i hate that!, but she is still better than Obama. I just hope she wouldn't cut the spending on our military. Keep it strong! And don't raise my friggin taxes, raise it for upper class if you want but not me. I dislike how much they take already, I don't need more out.

I'm gonna try and find ridiculous earmarks that Obama, Biden and McCain have passed in the past 4 years. This should be interesting.

I like Nader's political perspective, but he took votes from Gore and made ultimately Bush are president. So I can't support him

I think he probably believes the the theory that it's going to massively cost Americans in taxes. We're already paying 15 billion for those who are uninsured though, 15 billion we shouldn't have to pay, as Obama has pointed out in one of his speeches I believe, and that combined with Obama cutting taxes for 95% of Americans alleviates most of my concerns on that issue. I do understand concerns in that regard though.

When he says someone is distorting the truth, especially when that someone is a Republican, it's probably true, he knows all about distorting the truth.

That's the exact mentality which is responsible for placing this country in the position it's in:

-soaring unemployment
-rising inflation
-corporate socialism
-worthless dollar
-billions in national debt
-crumbling housing market
- failing educational system

but then again who cares, right?

I don't quite get how Obama is down for the count either unless you take the same polls that predicted massive victory for Al Gore seriously. The polling methods also often don't take account of newly registered voters and their methods and results don't necessarily represent a majority in some cases. The only polls that matter are electoral votes.
