Improvements for a sequel

This game is great, but it could definately be better in some areas.

Granted, I would love to see a Punisher game with a free-roaming setting like the Spiderman title, where you could cruise New York and do various missions. But, aside from that, these are what could be improved if the next game is in the same style as this one.


1. Let us have grenades in our armory!! I couldnt believe that this wasnt an option. Flashbangs are awesome for getting some good kills without getting hit. And the Frag grenades are really well done also. I would have liked to have been able to take some grenades into any level I wanted to play, and been able to use them from the start.


2. Aiming could use some fine tuning. There are a few times where I had shot an enemy in the face, only to have him turn and start shooting at me, getting a hit on me, and ruining my score multiplier. If you get shot in the face with any of these weapons in the Punisher armory, youre going down, end of story. There are a few instances where you have a clean shot at the enemy also, but the game does not recognize it, and the bullets are stopped by some sort of invisible barrier. This is avoided by waiting until your crosshair turns yellow to guarantee a hit, but its aggravating when you have a perfectly clear shot, but it doesnt register that you could make that shot.


3. Either more special kills/interrogations, or let us use the interrogation points more than once. The specialty stuff in this game was great, and it kinda sucked that you could only use each place a single time. It should have worked the same way the quick kills do, deducting a bit from your total interrogation bonus for each time you repeat it.


4. Ability to wield one type of gun in each hand. Now that would be sweet. In various pictures we always see The Punisher with 2 different guns. For instance there is one picture of the Punisher with an M-16 in one hand, and his .45 in another. And since they incorporated that you have to press L1 to fire the left hand weapon and R1 to fire the right hand weapon, I see no reason that they couldnt have done that. Think of it. An M-16 in one hand, and then the Shotgun in the other hand if they get close. There is some great fun to be had there.


Thats about all I can think of right now. Not too many flaws that I can see, and the game is great fun as it is. Ive definately gotten my money's worth from it, Ive played the hell out of this game since I purchased it.

thats exactly what i was thinking..A free roam Punisher game..that would be frickin awsome..itd pretty much be like gta..except ur a good guy...and id aslo improve on some of his movements..like being able to jump..climb over stuff..and id like to see some hand to hand combat and being able to use ur knife outside of his rampage mode...and as far as that goes ..every superhero game from now on should be free roam..especially for the ones that can fly like Iron Man.

also include some uncensored stuff, manhunt was pretty gruesome, more weapons, climbable objects, better grenades instead of just frags, that kinda stuff would make the game perfect

Maybe not a free roam, then it would be kinda like manhunt, but it would be really good if it was alot of space to run around and stuff, different paths. Or, there could be a mini game for non stop action with all the guns, at a chosen location. Kinda like Syphon Filter 2's two player mode

There is nothing in this thread that you wouldnt find in your average review in a magazine.

A spoiler is something that totally gives away a major point in the game, and usually it has something to do with the story.

The story is not even being discussed here.

I would want the ragdoll to be improved a bit for when you throw them, maybe some punches or kicks too.

The shooting mechanics cannot be improved at all, they're already at their best, and I'm sure everybody would agree with me.

However, like Stinger said, It'd be good if you can choose accessory sidearms while choosing weapons. (grenades, flashbags, molotovs, etc.)

Oh please, please, just get off this already. Get out of my face with this whining.

THERE IS NOTHING, NOTHING IMPORTANT THAT WILL RUIN THE GAME FOR ANYONE BEING DISCUSSED IN THIS THREAD.

If I was discussing main characters, cameos, storyline, vital plot points, the ending, anything like that, then you could whine and have a point.

There is nothing vital in this thread, so no, there wont be any spoiler tags put on it. If you cant handle reading basic things that are in this thread without having the game spoiled, you shouldnt even be in this forum in the first place.

infect and others i've played the game this thread has no spoilers in it....what was spoiled...now you know there isn't free roam and there is some interrogations...and special things....that tells you a lot doesn't it *bleep*s....you sound like a little kid...ooooooo selfish jackass....owwwwwww my feelings
