Good Day. Welcome to the
Mortal Kombat: Deception forum. We hope you enjoy your stay. The following are some guidelines to follow while you visit. Failure to follow them could result in several large tigers chasing you down. Well not really, but you could face some sort of punishment based on your actions.
Before doing anything and possibly putting your life at forfeit, read over the neoseeker wide forum
rules. This should cover most of what to do and not to do.
I would however like to emphasize the following items, possibly clear up anything.
1. First and foremost, have fun. Just enjoy yourself. Don't let things get to you. Not only will you feel good but the others around you will too. Trust me on this.
2. Treat your other neoseekers with respect. I'm sure all of you know proper social etiquette. Don't go out of your way to get someone angry and keep the insults, even if they are meant in jest, to a minimum. I believe in you, you can do it.
3. Discussion is ok, arguing isn't. Even if you hate the other person and you know he is wrong, keep a civil tone. Leave profanity and caps out of your post. Remember, this is for fun, most of this stuff is not going to matter in 3 years.
4. If you feel a post is offensive, feel free to hit that report button in the corner of the post. No matter how perfect I may seem, I may miss something from time to time. This is also appropriate in the place of a scathing post. Using the report keeps you out of trouble. The report button is your friend.
5. Any thread asking about cracks, hacks, or warez will be closed and action will be taken against the poster. No exceptions.
6. Try to stay on topic. Its understandable if your train of thought strays from the original topic. Even I do that. Just try to get back to the original topic as fast as you can. If you are lost, use the flare given in the stay on topic safety kit. I'll send somebody over to get you back on the right track.
7. Please try to make your posts meaningful. If you don't have anything to add, don't post. If I feel you are just trying to up your post count, your posts will be deleted.
8. Try to not double post. If you think of something you forgot after you already posted. Don't post again, just edit your current post.
9. Make your titles meaningful. Titles that simply say "Help" don't do much to enlighten us to what is in the post. Rather use a title like "Help with making custom objects". This will also increase the likelihood that somebody who knows the answer will respond.
10. The normal things still apply. No spamming, flooding, flaming, etc. Offending posts will be deleted and the poster may be punished.
Punishment may include restricted posts, or temporary bans. Depending on how dire the infraction, a permanent ban may be put in place.
Enjoy your stay.
