I am after finishing my 2nd season with liverpool. My squad looks like this:


Dida-free. hes had an amzing 1st season putting in a good performance every match. And he has not let a penalty pass him yet.
Arenas-2.3m. There hasnt been much oppurtunity for this young man to get on the field. But when hes on the field he makes a few crucial saves. Hopefully next season he will have more games to play.
Carragher. The liverpool man has just benn a backup defender this season as he has lost his place on the pitch to a new signing. But when hes called on to play, he is always solid.
Puyol-31m. This big money transfer is whats holding the defense together. Playing in the fullback position the opposition find it difficult to get in crosses.
Hyypia. He has been outstanding from day one. He hasnt slipt up yet and has played every match so far that i have been in charge of. But he is ageing now and a replacment will be needed in the future.
Finnan. This man has only seen one game come his way all season because puyol has kept him on the bench.
Josemi. Josemi only has played 4 games also because puyol has kept him off the field. But josemi got on when puyol was on international duties with spain.
Biscan. He has been on the transfer list all season as their is a conflict between me and him. And as a result he hasnt played all year.
Demichelis-5.5m. This man has been unlucky with injury, but when hes fit and ready for action he keeps the likes of jamie carragher off the pitch. He has been great all season but unfortunate with injury.
Riise. Riise has kept his position for the last 2 years and nobody is going to take it off him. He plays very hard in each match and always comes off with a good match rating.
Hamman. He has only played 46 games over the 2 seasons but he has proven to me that he is a valuable player of the squad. But sadly this is his last season wit me because he is leaving under the bosman rule at the ned of season.
Alonso. This man has outplayed every opposing team. He also has about 30 assists to hi name this year.
Gerrard. The engine of the team and inspiring captain. Last season he got 25 assists but this year he only played 15 odd games and then was struck with a terrible injury which has kept him out of action for 8months.
Joaquin-free. This man is the best player that has ever played for me. He has gotten premiership player of the year for the last 2 seasons. and he got worls player of the year this year. He avraged a 8.36 over the past 2 seasons. And he is also worth 53m.
Kewell. This player had a great first season playing almost every game. But this season he has been out of the line up due to some great performances from luis garcia. But if garcia slips up hen kewell will be straight in fighting for his place in the line-up.
Aimar-22m. He scores alot of goals for a midfielder. This ear he scrode 15-20, and last year he scored 20+. He is also a great central midfield partnership with gerrard. He also gets a fair amount of assists.
Messi-2.5m. This young man has only played 3 games this season. Im not too impressed wth him and he could be packing his bags shortly.
Luis Garcia. This spaniard has really excelled this season. He has been playing better than i expected. last season he couldnt get into the starting line-up due to kewwel being in form. Buth garci kept working hard and he broke into the line up and has been in it all season.
Smicer. This man hasnt played all sason and is leavin under bosman rule at the end of the season.
Cassano-free. I snapped this man up at the end of my 1st season on a free transfer/bosman. He haasnt really played much matches but he still managed to score 12 odd goals.
Berbatov-16m. A bargain buy i think he was. He has hit the back of the net 86 times since he joine back in august 2004. He is a real prolific striker. I hope he keeps up this amazing form into next season. I want him to stay at the club for 3 more years then i might think of cashing in on him. And he is valued at 46m.
Cisse. He has been 3rd choice this season due to gilardino and berbatov being in blistering form. He had a brilliant first seaon scoring 20+ goals. and this season he sttill managed 18.
Gilardino-18.5m. This player is like berbatov as in he scores nearly evry second match and was a bargain signing for the club. this season he managed 41 goals in 41 appearances. and he is worth 53m. He is the most valuable player at my club at the moment.
Sinama Pongolle. This man has been on loan all season and he is unhappy and next season i will be looking to sell him if possible.



I play a attacking 4-4-2 formation. I am in talks with 3 clubs at the minute trying to sign some deals. I hav a budget of 26m remaining. More wil be added when next season starts. Is there any positions that really need strenthening?? I won the league cup and premiership this season. But i never won any silverware last year. Cheerz

I'd recommend signing a young centre back and a left back as backups. Otherwise you're good.

Yeh thats pretty much my whole first team squad. Thanks for the advice on wher to strnghten. But do you know any players??

Err not sure what I can remember from FM05. Cesar Augusto Fawcett, Philip Lahm or Fabio Santos for left back? Or Dede if you can.

For a young centre back, I can't remember. Nik Besagno? Vincent Kompany maybe. Look through the thread index and recommended players list, I can't offer much help as I dont remember FM05 much.
