	No good, what is this. They're good, They make you run faster then anyone else. Drugs have to be a good thing, just to be like sonic.

	Knuckles unbelievebly, uses his "dreadlocks" to glide for short distances, haha pretty weird, and I think doctor eggman might of created sonic, by experimenting with hedgehogs and shtuff, like his grandpa, how proffesor gerald made shadow, the ultimate life form, and how they use the same powers speed and emeralds in the same way, kinda makes you think, maybe eggman heard a story about how his grandpa made shadow, and tried to do the same with sonic, :3

	I think it's because Sonic is an unproportionately large blue hedgehog, whose friends are a bright orange 3 tailed fox, a dark red echidna, and and an apricot and cream colored rabbit. It was indeed Robotnik. He wasn't called Eggman in this version. And when it occurred, he was called Dr Kintobor. Basically he had Sonic (a brown hedgehog, but still one that could talk and walked on two legs) running on a treadmill using Kintobor's patented "low friction running shoes". One day Sonic broke the speed of sound and turned blue. And shortly afterwards there was a lab accident involving chaos emeralds that turned Kintobor into Robotnik. (And made him turn evil). -------------------

	There was a rumor circulating that after his friends were kidnapped by Robotnik he went to a voodoo lady and she gave him a 'curse' of super speed and from there he was able to get even faster, from That curse there was a lot of mystical energy, which allowed him to tap the power of the chaos emeralds and become super sonic, shadow's cloned that's why he can become super Shadow, and Silver is just an excuse to have another hedgehog.

He was very fast without them, but it was the shoes that were created by Dr. Kintobor that allowed him to run 100s of times faster. 	well actually sonic had speed when he was born because he is a MUTANT hedgehog and his shoes are friction proof without his shoes his feet hurt and he cant really run because (sore feet=cant run)
