	so which is going to be better football manager 2005 or champ manager 5 i played champ 03-04 and loved it feedback appreciated i did not play any other champs just that 1 and i love it

	The fact is ramZ, that Sports Interactive, the team that developed all the previous incarnations of Champ Manager, have left Eidos all are their own, so it will defo be interesting to see which version is better. Eidos have done their own version, but in my humble opinion, I think Football manager 2005 will just nick it on penalties.

	I havent seen alot of info on the actual game CM 5.. I have seen ALOT of publicity that they are putting CM 05 on... Every Trade magazine and high profile thing has CM 05 on and now a SKy One program is sponsired by it... And yet no game to back it up... I really do think that they are banking on the CM name and the game is going to be poor.. It was shown at one of the Trade Shows this year and the feed back I have had about it was that it is nothign special.. Please bear in mind that the demo thats out for FM2005 is a BETA demo and is not the fully completed game (its around 7 weeks old currently and we've still a few weeks work to go before the game is completed). We'll (as usual) release a Gold demo based upon the final retail version of the game once the game has gone into manufacturing. Hope this helps, Marc

The reason it was only available for a fixed period is simply that it was a 'beta' used to get feedback on the general gameplay and ensure that any compatibility problems that might have existed were fixed before the game went 'Gold'. The time period for the download has since expired, but if you poke around on kazaa I'd be amazed if you can't rummage it up if you really want it. Alternatively (and my suggestion) wait a few weeks and we'll be releasing a 'Gold demo' which will be a six month (game time) demo based upon the final retail version of the game. The 'Gold' demo will be fully save game compatible with the retail release so you'll have the added advantage of being able to continue your demo save game in the full version should you want to. 	the game ye lot played at these conventions were using teh old code. They have goten a new one recently, alot better aparently.
