so, why do you guys like this game? i like it because i love anything retro. (especially retro bowser)

Well, seeing that this game is AWESOME... And that Nintendo bought out a company to make it...

Just kidding, this game is awesome. And fun. And I can beat it in anywhere around 10 to 15 minutes.

yea, so I assume this is SMB2 the USA version, so yea. This game is a japanese called Doki Doki panic with Mario characters put in. It bothers me when people talk about that like it's a bad thing. Doki panic was the most popular game in japan at that time, even more than SMB2 of japan. It was also a better game, and more fun and less frustrating than japanese SMB2. And you could use 4 characters. So it made sense that nintendo made that game into SMB2 in the US (and I think also europe). And when I hear the old story of "nintendo thought Japanese SMB2 was too hard for Americans". Haha, right, the fact that it was a violently difficult game and that doki doki was beating it had nothing to do with it. As far as the person who coined that phrase, I would like to watch them beat the original SMB2 japanese in front of my eyes. I really would.

After all, I would also like to see who in this world could beat that game easily?

I liked this game because to me it seems to be the most classic Super Mario Bros. game. Plus, you can play as Peach and Toad instead of just Mario or Luigi.

I like this game because it is completely different than the first and third games (and the second Japanese, which is just like the first game, so i don't count that really)... and yes i know it was a rip off of doki doki panic, but hey i think a game like that was ripe for parody anyways LOL
