it doesnt have any problems with 98, it was made for Windows 98, but its not even possible to play even after changing the compatibility mode to Windows 98 on the exe.

Whenever I cast fallen wings the game halts and millenia stands there with a black screen around her and music playing. I have tried fixes mentioned earlier but nothing works. Please tell me you know a way to fix it.

I want to just ask if anyone has found another solution to the video problems. I can see the videos with media player just fine i have copied every file in the play disc to the game directory but i still can't see the in game movies.
I am running XP SP2 so if anyone has found another solution then plz do tell

Unbelievable i reinstalled the game and it worked but now it crashes when i cast i spell with avi file

This is way too random i reinstalled and now the videos don't work again i can't figure out what is wrong.

I've had this game for a while and i love it, but we got a new computer lately and it wont install. When i tell it to install it says "Do you want to completely uninstall this program from your computer" even though theres nothing on there.
Anybody have a soloution?

well, not to anoy ppl here but i had this game for PC a few years ago, and it ran FINE, (only a little problem after u cast Fallen wings, It took about 30 sec after its done to return to game) anyway, after i beat the game... a few times... I sudenly stopped working, (yeh i did cry) now many years/coputor changes later, i still sufferd whenever i heard about the game, (hands shaking and so on) but resently i managed to get it! but i sufferd the same problem as on my last computor, When I try to start the game up It plays the intro/company films, but when it's done the game simply... shuts down back to windows... (yet again I cryed) donno what to do! I cant even hold a coffe cup Steady! any1 know a way for me to get further in the startup? (like to the menu =Þ )

Help me! After the long intro avi finished, the screen just turn black, no sound, no picture, just black. I've waited for half an hour but still a black screen...

Well, I've tried to delete the sorted.idx in vms folder and the game did show me the start menu, and work perfectly with the avi.But, the whole screen got black right after the intro movie. I wonder anyone know what the sorted.idx file do?

well guys it works on my pc, 1gig ram, 128 mb fx 5200 gf4. my mates pc was around and we wanted to play together, he had a fx 5500 didn't work froze at the Gamearts screen, i realised i had 3divx 4.5.1, and powergendivx program. maybe that helped me, i just installed the stuff on his pc. havnt openeed it yet, i've tried to delete sorted.vms file it worked up until the title screen, then a wierd error came up when we tried to do a newgame. anyway long story short i belive its a. video problems or .b codec problems. try downloading alot of diff codecas.

i was having the same problems when starting a game it ran the 2 company's movies then it crashed, tried lots of stuff even deleting the vms file mentioned earlier but when you do that the game shows you an error later on so to solve this just make a fresh install and dont use any modified .exe and it will work if it doesnt then do the same procedure but at the end of instalation got to ur 2nd cd and copy the folders uvms, visual y vms and that should do it and install the codecs mentioned earlier it worked for me hope it does for you

is there any solutions for the L/R button problems yet? i couldn't power up my skills and i got stucked in the advanced tutorial mode where i'm supposed to access the skill menu in the power up mode. there is no function for the L/R buttons inside the menu, however, it functions outside with the map rotation.

hope someone can point me to a solution on my problem. thanks

*** Control Issues ***
When I remapped the default controls, I could not navigate down the inventory…even though these same key mappings worked in the game-play screen. Setting the controls back to default fixed this issue for me.

Try tech “support” although it is unlikely to have any useful information.
For example, the game box states XP is supported. The support on this internet site says XP is NOT supported.

Make sure you have the right disc inserted. I had the wrong one in and after simply swaping discs, I had no problem.
