How do you prevent your ship from crashing into rocks or an iceberg while in play mode. Everytime I seem to get my game on a role, I crash into rocks or an iceberg and lose my entire ship and crew. Does this happen for a particular reason? Or is it just random? Does anyone know?

Um... I do believe it is impossible for your ship to sink into the ocean. If you are getting that result somehow, you must either have no money, or your ship is in bad need of repair.

It is possible to sink, it happens frequently.

When you're about to be hit by rocks or an giant squid, you'll receive a warning and red warning circles will appear on the globe at the bottom right. If you click on the globe, you can steer your ship to avoid the collision.

Holy crap, I didn't know that. Whenever I've played, I've never had any problems with the ship sinking, only had problems with the possibility of running out of money.

Ah, never mind, I was thinking of Carnival Cruise Lines Tycoon, which has an almost identical mini-pic to the one I saw at the top of this forum.
