hey guys not sure if yall remember me or not. Anyways i am bubba X from like 2 years go I was on here.

anyways I have a problem:

You see I have this guy in my guild he claims he is a hacker but from thinking about it I have reasonable doubt that he is one.

cause once he said he owed a friend 68k then when he said he hacked 300k from somone he said he owed him 75k.

he would need a trusted person to transfer his 300k right?

he wouldn't give me some even though he really didn't make the money but says he gave some random poor guy 50k and felt bad for him?

always makes excuses like he was making a program and says it crashed on him.

his mom is a programmer and taught him how to program stuff so why would the mom give him the tools to hack?

he said "i started to learn how to hack by goin to this site hackthissite.org (dont go to the site might be a trap or a virus or w/e i dont trust it)

also hes 15 years old and goes to 8th or 9th grade although he could be lieing about his age.


here are some of the things i questioned in my mind if he hacks or not.


sooooo i am not sure what I should do about this situation its driving me nuts. I am afriad of being hacked I cant enjoy the game and if i do something about it he might want to get revenge.

He's a liar. 'Hackers' are people who just scam people out of passwords, it is EXTREMELY difficult to truly hack an account. In fact, I'd venture to say there's not more than four or five real 'hackers' playing the game.

thanks and you know now that u think about it he is trying to get emails. and is trying to get personal information from the people.

and i try to talk to him about it but he denies it.

he said "o yea if you ever accuse anything from my life again i will never forgive you"

soooo i think your right about tricking to get passwords.

That's not hacking that's social engineering.

Just to warn you if you fall for it you're out of luck since Anet (And every other internet community) warn you not to give out personal information.

ofcourse i wont fall for it. But this guy is going on and on how he hacks making stories up.

its really making me irate!

Take a screenshot of him claiming to be a hacker and report his wannabe ass to ArenaNet. Some admin may actually earn his paycheck.

Its not extremely hard to hack an account, all you need is the guys email account password and it is yours.

But that person in your guild is full of shit, but tbh if your that concearned, kick him from the guiild or get someone to kick him.

But theres nothing to worry about, he wont know your email adress or anything so your safe

If you already have the email and password that's hardly hacking is it. Tell me then how would you go about getting it if it is so easy to do?

well somone got my account name + password back when i played diablo 2. He scared me saying he could hack and said something about the "blood trust" where we are buddies and we each give out account + pass word on 3. BUT he said if i faked it and lied he would hack me for sure, but if i didn't then he wont hack me.

so i did it and paniakced, he gave me his account and pass and i gave him mine.

the thing was his was a fake, but mine was real. So thinking everything was great that he gave me his email and pass i wanted to go on and try it out.....didn't exist.

so i was like ok dont panic its probably just a typo he made.

turns out he hacked everything I had and changed pass.

I was a noob then, a noob to multiplayer games, and a noob to what people can do to you.

luckily I didn't really loose much since i kinda just started.

Umm so he DIDNT have your info and he said if you dont give it to him, he will hack you? But how can he when he didnt have your info.. lol should've just left the game! lol
