What does the Japanese version have that the American one doesn't?

Sorry for the thread necromancy though this is to anyone who needs help with this in the future.

Memorize where the letters are in each box, for example in each box, memorize where the p, e, a, r, l, and s are. In the Japanese version, just hit where the hiragana is wherever the letters would eventually be in the English version. This sounds confusing though I'll borrow from a guide.

This scale I copied from the GameFAQs guide of Kirby021591. So the order is 5/5, 3/5, 1/5, 3/5, 4/5, and 1/5. The order is exactly the same though instead of letters, it's hiragana.
