	Log in to remove this advertisement Hi guys I bought a Seagate Expansion 1TB for $80 at futureshop today. I started backing up my files after moving around 80GBs of movies to it. The hard drive started making clicking noises. I researched it and found out that this has been common in the Expansion series since 2009, the clicking noises means that its life is running out soon, they are called the clicking of death. I was really disappointed because of this so i moved all my files off it and plan on returning it tomorrow. I really recommend you don't buy these external hard drives from Seagate. 	Always good to have archived in the forum, friend of mine had the same issue with his a few years back and it died within a few weeks. Generally check out sites like newegg for reviews, many times you'll find straighter reviews than amazon about the product. Honestly I avoid Seagate at all costs right now and probably will for quite some time. -------------------
