	Exactly. I want a SSD drive, but I want it to be Sata 3.0. So I'll wait a while before upgrading till the market for them is hopefully a little more competitive. In the meantime I have other upgrades to attend.

	How do these work? Are they similar to USB memories? About how much is this one worth? Will my laptop be able to use one of these? It has Windows 7, Intel Core i3, 4 GB of Ram and 450 Gb of drive C space. I recently purchased this laptop and... I'm actually a noob when it comes to these kind of electronics.

	quote How do these work? yeah, think of a USB flash drive. a really big USB flash drive that is really fast. as for cost, they are very expensive, and usually not worth getting for computers that cost less than $1200. your laptop will be able to use one of them, but your specs provided mean nothing (lol @ hard drive space - the hard drive is what youd replace). youd need to find out what interface your hard drive uses first. most likely its SATA. -------------------

	Does this TRIM command has to be sent explicitly by the user via a utility or the drive does it whenever needed by itself? But more importantly does it mean that after a TRIM command I will no longer be able to restore the data that resided in those cells with a data recovery software? Carpe Diem Edit: Apr 17, 10
