	Log in to remove this sponsored message I tried the B and side to side thing and it worked instantly! I did this to catch Articuno in LG. On my old LG game I did something that I have never duplicated even once. I caught Mewtwo in a Pokeball! Just a regular old wimpy one

	yea and leaving gameboy in sun recharges it. it really works i left it with batteries empty on a table outside while looking for charger and when i found it it was already chaged and i was like wtf.

	There are sooooo many theories about 'pressing buttons to make catching pokemon easier', but in reality none of them actually work, it's just luck.

	I know pressing buttons doesn't do anything, and I am scared of pressing b (coz It's the back/NO button) but I pressed b after the initial bounce and each turn on articuno and it worked And the articuno had quite a bit of health too (he was still in red though, not asleep or one hp or anything) I kept restarting and stuff then I pressed buttons and it worked on my second try lol.

At this point I hadn't even touched the a and b buttons. I then finally decided what the hell ill do the b and direction thing and whala. First try no problems what so ever. This technique definitely does work and i suggest it to anyone having a bitch time trying to catch a pokemon. ok no lie this works it took me 74 tries with ultra ball to try to get regice and not doing anything but i read thru this forum and saw this, and held down b as soon as it hit the floor and it worked, one time off the bat!

	No-one can actually guarantee if pressing buttons is just a superstitious thing but some people say that pressing buttons proves useful when attempting to catch 2day when i battled uxie, i tried to test out the button theory So i threw several pokeballs at it without touching the buttons and it didnt wiggle once Then i held b and pressed L at the exact time the ball shook and it wasnt long be4 uxie was mine But this is the only time i've ever tested it out so i am not fully convinced that buttons help I just wish that someone figures out whether or not buttons help with very good evidence so that this question is laid to rest
