Im not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but anyways, I used my gameshark and used the 'easy catch' code so I wanted to see for the fun of it if I could catch other trainers pokemon, turns out you can but I got a 'bad egg' Questions:
1. Can you get rid of them?
2. Do they even hatch...

Well the bad egg is bound to be a missingno when it hatches that is what a bad egg is usually so dont hatch the egg because when it hatches you have a high chance of losing your game data as in your file will corrupt its happened to my friend before.

Bad Eggs don't hatch, my friend, there glitched up eggs that appear when you use a cheating device. Congrats, you ruined your file

I hate bad eggs they cause to much trouble but the good thing is they only appear when cheats are activated so non cheaters have nothing to worry about.

I've never gotten a bad egg; and I loooove Cheating! (NOT A GAMESHARK OR AR though!) Just with regular cheats like on PS2.

That really stinks if your file got messed up all because of an egg that won't hatch...

u will only get a bad egg if u enter a wrong sharkcode.. -.-'' and the egg may hatch.. but then again it may not.. X3.. it can hatch into a M' or a missingno.. they are practically useless 'glitch' pokemon, as they will bring glitches to your game.. so make sure u enter the right sharkcode.. ^-^

I found out they DONT hatch they just stay there.

Those bad eggs won't hatch whatever you do, it always says that "it will take a long time to hatch".
And the bad egg is in your party, right? And it will probably be in the last slot of your party. Well, these bad eggs eat up your pokemon!

Do this. Go to a PC and Store the bad egg in it. Then, put a pokemon in the slot of your party the bad egg was in. After some time, that pokemon will no more be there and you'll have another bad egg in that slot. And that pokemon will be gone, forever! The only way (that i know) to get rid of them is to restart.
I had it once in my emerald when i cheated and used that "infinite masterball" cheat. I caught Kyogre with one of those masterballs, and it turned into a bad egg

my cuz has like 15 bad eggs (which all hav pokerus by the way) that don't do anything wierd at all to his file...the worst they do is take up box space...and the best bit...the pokerus NEVER goes away! i let him infect one of my pokemon and on that pokemon it never goes away! I keep my boxes infected

Well i just told you what happened to me Maybe different bad eggs do different things to you. And my bad egg didn't have a pokerus, its status said it was asleep.

I managed to find that cheat which i used on emerald. I had that cheat noted down with me and i used it on VBA and got this screenshot:

Again, try not to use screwed up codes like walking through walls, or catching missingno. If you do, expect glitches and bad eggs to come your way. There is one Missingno. that is ok to catch and that is the one that looks like this ---> ??
