What is the best team before the elite four?

I am having trouble at the elite four and cant beat the first one my team is:

Blastoise lv. 53

Dragonair lv. 40

Snorlax lv. 30

Venonat lv. 26

Pidgeot lv.41

Weepinbell lv. 36

do u have a motres or articuno or zapdos if u do use that too if not

well... use porgon 51 or sandslash 50 or onix 49 if not have these levels 50 make it in day care where misty is

I know the last post was last year but I have the same problem, I have had this game for years and i am still in the main game. My cousin made my team so it can beat the elite 4, so dont blame me if its rubbish!

My team:
Primeape lv-43
Focus Energy, Seismic Toss, Rage, Cross Chop

Machamp- Level 45
Foresight, revenge, vital throw and submission

Rattacate(fang) level 45
Hyperfang, focus energy, pursuit and superfang.

Blastoise- Level 90!!
hydro pump, hydrocannon, strength and surf

Moltres- level 53
Rocksmash flamethrower, fire spin and fly

Zapdos- Level 52
Detect, Fly, thunderwave and dril peck.

None of you're Pokemon should be below level 55 when you take on Pokemone League.

Former Hall of Fame Team when I entered Pokemon League.

Charizard Lv 60 (Flamethrower, Fly, Slash, Earthquake)
Pigeot Lv 60 (Fly, Steel Wing, Arial Ace, Wing Attack)
Jolteon Lv 60 (Shock Wave, Thunder, Agility, Pin Missile)
Gyrados Lv 60 (Surf, Hyper Beam, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam)
Hypno Lv 60 (Psychic, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Meditate)
Dragonite Lv 60 (Hyper Beam, Thunder, Blizzard, Dragon Claw)

Obviously carrying Full Restores and Revives helps your chances as well.

i hate my rival he has charizard lv 52 my venasaur is lv 68

Lapras is a really good Pokemon because if you train it to lv 60 before the elite four it can wipe out the last two gym leaders. Also it can learn electric moves and other awesome move like phycic. Also it learns sheer cold( a one hit ko) at lv 55 I think. You can get one before the elite four in the silph co building or after the elite four on one of the new sevii islands( the islands after one, two, an three).

Blastoise level 60 icebeam earthquake.
Zapdos level 60 fly, thunderbolt
Gengar level 60 psychic, feint attack
Fighting type level 60 brick break
Lapras as an extra level 60

Iv currently go charezard lvl 53 dragonair lvl 53 garados lvl 51 zapdos lvl 51 and im training up aerodactyl but id love to know if u recomend another pokemon???
