Well, there has been quite a few questions asked repeatadly in this forum, so I have decided to make a thread for some of the questions asked….

Feel free to ask Sander or I to include what you think should be up there. Feel free to post it in here and we might include it.

What is the best starting Pokemon?

It’s up to you, but for beginners Bulbasaur is the best choice since it is a good pokemon for the first few gyms but it gets usless into the game.

What is the difference between Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green?

There isn’t much of a difference, except the Pokemon you can catch.
Pokemon Leaf Green has 23 exclusive Pokemon and Pokemon Fire Red has 22 Exclusive Pokemon.

What Ledgendary dog do I get in the game?

How come I can’t go anywhere in the Fuschia Gym?

There are invisible walls inside the gym.you can see them faintly.

Where are wonderspots located?

Wonderspots are located in New York and Japan.

How do I get the coin case?

Go to the food place in Celadon, ask the guy you usually see in the gyms and he will give the coin case to you.

What is Pokérus?

Pokérus is a disease that infects a small percentage of wild pokemon. When you encounter one of these pokemon, your own pokemon will catch the disease for a short period of time. While the pokemon has the virus, it will collect double the number of EVs it normally would, letting the stats of an infected pokemon grow much more quickly. After a few days, the virus will clear up, and your pokemon will return to normal.

What are Shiny pokemon?

Shiny pokemon are pokemon that are differently coloured to regular pokemon. They are very rare (barring the Red Gyrados in GSC, which was available to everyone), with roughly a 1 in 8000 chance of catching one. When a shiny pokemon appears it will be surrounded by stars, and will make a small "ping"

How do i evolve my Seadra?

Seadra evolves when traded while holding a Dragon Scale, which can be found on wild Bagons and Horseas.

What are natures?

Natures affect a pokemon's max stats, raising one stat's max by 10% and lowering anothers by 10%. For example, a Ludicolo's max speed at Lv100 is 238 and it's max Sp Attack is 278. But if it had a Jolly nature, which raises Speed at the cost of Sp Attack, it's best speed woult be 261 (10% higher than usual) and it's max Sp Attack would be 250 (10% lower than usual). Different natures affect different stats. Here's a list of natures and how they affect stats:

What is a bad egg?

A bad egg is an egg that has been created using a GameShark or other cheat machine, but has been caught by an in-built defense against cheat codes. The egg will never hatch, as it has been disabled.

How do I get National Dex?

You have to have at least 60 Pokemon in your Pokedex and have beaten the E4 once.
Go to Proffesor Oak and he will give it to you.

How come my Golbat won’t evolve?

You need to have the National Dex before Kanto Pokemon evolve into Jhoto Pokemon.

How do I get Slowking?

You need the King’s Rock first.
Attach it to a Slowpoke and trade it over to another game.

How come there is no one in the Union room?

The wirless adapter can only send signals for 10 ft.(3m.). Therefore if no one is in that range, you can’t see anyone in the union room.

Why doesn’t my Eevee evolve into a Espeon or Umbreon?

There isn’t time in this game, so you don’t know if it is night or day. You have to trade it to Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire to evolve it.

How do I know if my Pokemon loves me or not?

You can check with Daisy after she grooms your Pokemon. Just simply put the Pokemon you wan’t to be checked in the 1st Pokemon slot.

Where do I catch Ho-oh, Lugia and Dexoys?

For Ho-oH and Lugia, you need the mystic ticket. For deoxys you need the aurora ticket. I believe you get these tickets from Nintendo Events and I assune they will release these tickets on E-Cards.

Should I use the Master Ball on Mewtwo?

It is up to you. But I suggest using it on the dog because it is harder to capure.

Can I get Celibi and Mew in this game?

No you cannot, Mew might be in Pokemon Emerald, but we have heard nothing anout Celibi.

How do I get the Second Password?

Go to Six Island. At the southern part of it use cut on the door. Follow the path until you find the sapphire. A scientist will come and take the sapphire, but give you the second password.

It's good idea for them to be sticky it can help. But these threads get close sticky so like they don't get full of spam.

Are Leftovers 1 time only use or infinate use?

Leftovers can be used as many times as you want.

i need to ask a question. how many pokemon do i need to battle with macho brace to get 32 level points for the evs?(the pokemon im battling give 1 ev per defeat)please respond
