So once you get your first title for Prier and the Warp Engine, you can get mass miracles every time with hardly any effort at all.
How, you ask?
Just place the warp engine on a character, put them at a corner, unequip, place it on another character, put them in the other corner, and so on. Automatically by having a line going all around any map, every portal inside will be purified and depending on whether you used clever placement of change-ups, will determine how many bonuses you will get after its all said and done.
Why are mass miracles important?
Leveling up items and strengthening your purifying power, of course. To combine items the RIGHT way, you need to have your base item at level 20 and each of the mixing items at 10 or higher and mass miracles will make that happen waaaaay faster then just purifying individual portals. Also, once you get to 3,000 purifying power, demons convert so easy its not even funny.
What really makes the warp engine so important?
The fact that you can move ANYWHERE with ANYBODY. Sometimes its all about placement. For example. Lets say you are at level 500 and you see a Haniwa at level 750 with INSANE weapons equipped and he has MAJOR magic reach, probably OMEGA WIND, FIRE, SAINT, ETC. Well, you don't want want to be within his reach, because though you may "Convert No Matter What" in one turn, when you end the turn, he will destroy Prier in one turn. So thats no good right? Well, with the warp engine, you can move to a spot just outside his reach, sometimes even a case where you are on one piece and he is on another, and purify him and use Batter Up or Holy Wind while he sits there, unaware to your presence. Anytime you want to purify a monster that is too powerful for you to survive after there turn, just use a strategy like this.
How can Warp Engine really work for me?
Unless you have an army of Gorgons stolen from Baal stage like me, then you probably have a Uber Prier and Puny Insignificant Everyone Else. So you will have to equip the warp engine to characters that Brave Up or Magic Up to send them waaaaaaay across the map out of harms way, so that you can braveheart up Prier and keep your guys and gals safe after your turn ends. Just telport Prier to them to be powered up, then just hit circle and you will be back to your recent spot, with powers maxed. Repeat. My Gorgons dont have any attack skills, only the skills picked up from Rods, so they are really INT based, but I have every one of them equipped with Brave/Mag Up/Omega Heal, so they are HUGE support characters.
In the Dark World, what does Warp Engine help me with best?
SKIPPING NONESENSE. Sometimes you will find levels where no monsters have any good items at all. Why bother even doing anything on maps 1-9 unless there are Haniwas, anyway. Even though you can purify Demons, you still cant recruit them in the Dark World with the first title. All you will get is one of their items and it is at random. Haniwas come fully equipped with all their items. Plus, I found out that all you have to do is beat the strongest Demon on the last level and you will get the good ending anyway. Even if you skipped every stage doing absolutely nothing, but just make sure to kill the STRONGEST demon on the last floor. Look around, because sometimes some Uber Demon will be off the screen in a well hidden spot and you think you got the strongest one and you wound up with crappy ending and crappy money and crappy item.
When you decide to play the last stage in the game, going to Noir, there are these little mazes of portals in which you must figure out the right one to advance, well the Warp Engine takes all the difficulty out of that. As you can see, Warp Engine saves you time and effort for some of the would be tedious parts of the game. Plus, I like that when its equipped, you don't walk across the map, you just pop from one point to another point. Cool.
