At the end of WW Ganondorf gats stabbed in the face and they sail off to find a new land to call home. Or, a new Hyrule if you will.

Simple answer to volvagia and valoo problem. in the 7 years link was asleep volvagia pulled and had a kid. volvagia was reborn by gannondorf but not actually controlled untill link came back giving him time to mate before locking him in the boss room. just think, if he started feeding gorons at the start of the 7 years surley they would have all been eaten in 7 years, so he must have had a few years freedom. they had valoo and when ganondorf locked volvagia away the female and valoo fled. link kills volvagia and some kind of evil kills valoos mum. valoo goes back to where his father was locked away and finds him dead and blames ganondorf for making him evil. he then hates war fighting and evil vowing to then help the people at dragon roost when hyrule floods. you could even say link kills valoos mother in twilight princes(sky temple) who was also controlled by ganondorf.
