	Because you're not meant to be able to. The game continues like that, you always restart from just before you enter the castle.

	There would basically be no game afterwards just like everyother RPG where you beat the final boss and the game reverts back to the way it was before your last save -------------------

	Yeah, I had that annoying problem. After the credits, at the "the end," it starts back to the title screen. When I saw my file was the same as before ganon, i was like "WHAT THE HECK! CRAP!" But that's all right, cuz then you can beat ganondorf over and over and still play the game and do other stuff. Like the Cave of Ordeals.
