Terrible Game?

Before you all jump me, am a HUGE zelda fan. But this game seems to have tried too hard with adding something new to the series, rather then concentrating on bringing some of the original stuff back that made OOT so great.

Yeah, the graphics are great and it has a good story, but I find myself having to pause the game too many times to look for a walkthrough for a certain level.

The size of the game, as in the map, is amazing, but half of it seems so empty. Like when you're in Hyrule Field, it just seems so empty and pointless, and seems to be there just to make the game bigger.

Am not asking for it to have been simpler, but am just wondering if anyone else seems to think the same as me? I played OOT from start to end with no problem, and same with MM and WW, so why not TP?

Yeah Places like Hyrule Feild and The Desert don't have a lot to offer but I don't think the Game was TerribleI mean I normally use a walkthrough my First play through of all Zelda games but After I beat it once I was okay and I even beat it 100%

I felt exactly the same way about the big empty spaces. Mostly about Hyrule field. There should be more in it or at least more to discover inside it. Not too much because then it will make the field feel small and cramped. Just enough so that you can wonder around in the field and maybe find some hidden things to entertain yourself with.

As for the difficulty of the game, I thought it was pretty comfortable. There were some certain puzzles I did not have the patience for or didn't fully understand what needed to be done so I looked up a walkthrough for them. Other than that the temples were easy to navigate, easy to get through and.... MY biggest issue, the bosses were way too easy for my liking.

After you go through all that trouble to get to the boss the battles are repetitive. One thing I've always noticed about the Zelda games is boss battles always seem to go in multiples of three. Meaning if there's a certain sequence of actions you have to do to get a solid hit on an enemy you only have to do it tree times and they're dead. Grab on to the back of the giant snake and slash at it's eye three times.... Knock the spider off the ceiling and smash it with a hammer three times, then isolate the eye and slash at it repeatedly three times.

My favorite battle in the entire game is the battle with Zant. It was a longer battle and, despite it was still multiples of three, it was constantly changing and you had to remember how you did each temple. Even the battle with Ganon/Ganondorf was pretty boring.

I'd like to see more variety in the boss battles.

i think the changes are a good thing. it's an awesome game with a new, unique plot. we don't want every game to be like ocarina of time, do we?

not like OOT but they left some of the drama out of TP
