I have found odd screenshots from ffx-2 international that show that you can have different character partys instead of just Yuna, Rikku, and Paine, Here they are:

are those the only alternate people

i've read that you can capture certain creatures/humans and make them fight for you,but you can only control Y,R,P.
so those wouldn't be the only ones.

I see... so maybe it's supposed to be like a replacement for summoning... seeing as how there is no way that you can summon aeons in this one...

I just read a thingie that said that you can play as Tidus auron and sum1 else important! Go to www.wikipedia.com and look up FFx-2! Read the thingie at the bottom!

How Many Characters Can You Play As?

It's hard to say given the fact that the not so in depth gamefaqs capture creature list does not give the names in english.

From playing around with it so far and reading that, you can seem to capture and play ( as in put them in your party lvl them up feed them abilities etc ), you get brother from the get go and can use the dif size pods to capture stuff from around the dif locations selectable from the monster arena menu which lets you place as many pods as you have and hold in one location multiple times or in any of the ones you want.

For example I placed three small pods in guadosolam ( spelling whatever )and got one female goon and 2 dif kinds of those snake cannon mobs.

In besaid I was able to get a wolf and large sized dragon which takes up 3 party member slots.

You can choose to have 1 or as many as the slots permit in your party, so like 1 yuna and nobody else or say rikku brother or a wolf, you dont even have to have any girls in order to play however they play from AI so you wont be able to control them in the actual fights with monsters, both in and outside the arena.

Some monsters/npcs need to be done in a certain order, like kimari can only be got in new game plus and some can only be got after say...100 floor dungeon or end game.

With no real good faqs out there its really trial and error or someone who is fluent in kanji to write one up some day.

How Come You Cant Get This Game In English?

Mostly because of how the japs are, sometimes they act like big babies truth be told ( omg I can see all the otaku rejects cringing now! ).

Over there they demand OUR music bands give them extra remixed tracks on music cd's but we dont get them here. When FF7 came out they got the american version WITH an extra CD that has all sorts of stuff to explor, so japan would have the best version.

Then they did it with X International but europe did get that, NA did not...even though SE knows it would have sold here.

And finaly X-2 International came out...in japan onRy. People just need to accept it is something they are going to keep doing and doing, also extra re releases over there are pretty common for alot of things, granted the majority of console games are made in japan first so they do have a bit of pride and right to do that too, but it is unfair to hardcore fans who want complete editions.

They Could Have Made Alot Of Money If They Sold It In USA And UK!

why do they expect america to give them extras when they won't give america any extras?
