The Gears 2 banner kicks ass. The background, the text, it all flows so smoothly. You could have thrown in a more variety of colors, but that's just me.

So I went back and deleted the stock from one of my older banners and ended up with another surprising result:

It's actually good. I'm guessing this is one your few vector work? I'm currently experiencing it myself at school. I don't think I'll be able to do the fish though.
Isn't there an easier way to create the spots without using the marque tool?

What is this:

What I'm doing here is called "Project Storybook". For years, I've had story ideas in my head and have never been able to express them. I'm not much of a writer. So I decided to express it in the way I know best: to make a collage out of it. With each one, I try and explain the synopsis of each story behind the piece. Also, each one has a theme to it. This one's theme is known as Destruction. Enjoy:



Ever since Duncan Fletcher was a kid, he was always in peak physical fitness. He never had to work out or exercise and his physical conditioning was always above average. One of his most impressive gifts is his dead aim with a gun. These gifts link him to a secret world wide conflict with an organization know as The Children of Alexander. During this struggle with the The Children, Duncan past throws him walks a bloody path of self destruction and revenge for the death of his beloved Kristien. With each life he takes away in his quest for vengeance, Duncan loses more and more of himself, slowly turning in to a monster in the process.
