There are a lot of things I like about that banner. My main concern is that you can't tell what the hell it is. If someone's never played Halo before and has no idea what anything in the game looks like, then they're not going to be able to comprehend what's in that banner. But I do love the splatter effect.

I get what you mean though. There are a lot of different opinions, but it seems that every forum has their own 'style'. And here, it seems to be the abstract, cluttered, anime/wrestling, with horrible text. Obviously that doesn't pertain to everyone, and well, quite frankly, it doesn't pertain to any of the veteran/advanced members, but still, I'm talking about the majority.

But still, I understand that people have different opinions. I guess I'm just a little too sensitive as to what's being said about what I make. Especially if it's being said by someone who I don't find to be all that great themselves. (and I'm not talking about you Insanity Prevails, that's just a general statement.)

The C4D renders are quite annoying to say the least. They are waaaaaay too overused. I don't have that big of a problem with downloaded brushes anymore though. I used to be so against them, but they really enhance your piece if used properly.

I completely agree about the wrestling stuff. A lot of those people have potential, but are completely oblivious to it.

I see what you mean about striving to get better comments, but again, for me, I don't care if the person isn't all that great to begin with.

Oh that's a snazzy header. I still like the splatter. XD Not too crazy about the logo, or the blue patch by his head though.

It's insane what some people find better. *coughlikewiththepersonthat putmeinthirdinthebattlecough*

Well I like a little bit of clutter but way to much and it looks horrible (IMO).

I like ST and SD work the best. I love the clean and crisp look of them. I tried to do something like they would in my recent header and I think I depicted it a bit.

I usually go for a chaotic baground because I am not good at making my own. But I will hopefully learn better ways soon.
