Yeah, I definately didn't really try that hard to make everything fit. I was more concerned about seeing his face on the left side rather then any of the text. You can get the gist of it and that's all that matters.

And yes, he is definately amazing hot. XD <3

Which effects? The text one or just the whole gradient effect? Well, I'll tell you both. XD

For the colors, all I did was select the actual pictures, made a new layer at the top, did a gradient of blue and red and then set it on screen. I then (still with the pictures selected) went into the Hue/Saturation option and changed the Saturation to something like +50ish.

For the text, all I did was select the text, then expanded the area and then put a 1px stroke on it.

Yeah, it just doesn't give the desired effect when it's darker though. I could have increased the contrast and lower the brightness, but then his face would have been lost in the shadows. I'm sure I could have fixed it, but you know... I'm lazy and I really don't care. It took all of 5 minutes and I wasn't going to something super, unbelievably amazing.

Hahaha, oh yeah, I know you weren't saying it sucks, I just wanted to reinforce the fact that I wasn't trying. It's really not hard to make random stuff like that. It's all layer blending and Level adjustments. Easy stuff. Mostly Screening and Lightening.

I'm really diggin' the second Ivan banner. The simplicity of it just makes it great.

I also find it to be quite better then most of my old stuff. It's interesting to see the different views of graphics between different forums.

This forum seems to be stuck on over-cluttered, abstract background, filter heavy banners. Sure that looks good sometimes, but the fact that 90% of the site does it just kind of makes it seem boring after like... 5 banners.
