Nope,More like make a new layer fill it with black put about 3 Lens Flares on it move it to the bottom of the stack and put it on 100% Overlay do some smudging and a brush stroke from filters and then make make another layer apply image go to Gaussian Blur and place it at the bottom of the stack to give it an angel effect and I played around with the setting on that one brush stroke to make it less blurry.
Also I made a Layer Adjustment>Gradient Map and then choose my own custom one. | |

When you use stocks like this, you should try giving it a background as if it were a render.

I don't like having backgrounds unless it is a render,Thats the whole point of brushes and smudging and filters,To cover up those useless spots on a picture of someone.

Alright and I've tryed it plenty of times and It's never worked out so good for the outcome.
Yea,I know you probably thinking he gives up to easily,Well I don't it's just I wanna make the banner appealing to the eye. So I try and make main focus on the character(In this case Matthew Bellamy) so the attention doesn't get carried away on the effects to the left or right. | |
