Have beam rifle? Use it.
Keep yourself at a distance whenever possible. Also note, don't waste every possible shot or you'll overheat. Keep a lil' bit left, cuz more times than not, you'll need an evasive 'jump' to keep the distance maxed. Also, you can easily corner enemies, or get them to get real close to each other by boosting around the screen. You get a great amount of boost/hover time in this game, so use it to circle enemies at a distance when possible, and you'll eventually wind them up to a pinch. When they are close together, get 'em with your special (skill sheild attacks). When grouped together, you may even hit both of them with the same attack. This works marvels with Sword Strike, who's a big fat fatty-headed cheater when using this. Always can take out two jinns at once with no hassle with the beam sword. And for the Strike Launcher variant, stay at a long distance and simply use the beam cannon. It packs quite a punch, and takes off blocking damage, unlike the average machine gun. Aile Strike isn't much better than strike. It's got a few decent moves, but given the Launcher and Sword Strike's cheeser advantages, you'll have to use real fighter skill with Aile and basic Strike. Aile can hit nearby enemies with its special attack, but this attack can also be easily blocked, and is a bit easier to evade than the other Strike variants specials, and since the attack is a multihit combo, you may end up missing and swinging at air while enemies take pot shots at your backside. When you get the chance to go one on one with an enemy, *right after you kill one of the backup enemies*, try to toss the lone enemy around like a ragdoll, so while it's down, you can reprogram your mobile suits OS. This can prove to be quite the advantage, especially against multiple gundams. ------------------- ![]() Imported Gundam: Battlefield Record UC:0081 (PS3)

I have found a very sneaky way off hacking off alot of damage with Sword. You know the move where you hit from underneath and slam them down? well once you do that, boost over to them and keep hitting them with at move or the spinning one and keep doing that before they get up but are able to sustain damage and keep doing that. I found that out while fighting the Duel and Buster =p
Another thing is with Gundam fights, use all your specials on one Gundam, works best with Sword, and then one is out of the way and u can use the trick from above -------------------

Strike is a bitch, especially against the Astrays. I'd suggest taking you're time, avoid and block any and all damage as much as possible. Throw an enemy at the other one, if you're really fast with you're fingers you should be able to upgrade about 1 level after throwing them down every time. Level 3 is the respected minimum, you have Long and Short Range power increase and a lot more energy.
I find Aisle Strike pretty easy to use, then again my second best fighter is Freedom so I can't say much. Just try to use "Left, Down Left, Down, Down Right, Right, O." (The Left, down left... is for the Analog stick.) It shoots a little blast in all directions. It's considered short range, so it gets more power with one level up. Launcher Strike... is hard when it comes to fighting people such as Dearka in his Buster and Yzak in his Duel. Most of the stronger attacks are completely negated due to their "sheilding". Try to spam the Triangle combos until they lost their first health bar. Level as much as possible. The others are actually sorta easy to use for most people, so try them out and let us know. ------------------- ![]() quote Oasis
