Elizabeth was appalled by this girl's attitude. She tried to shake it off, however, and change the subject.

"So, do you like Mineral Town? I've been here before, I know Ann and Doug, but you look like you are new to this place, need a helping hand," Elizabeth said politely. She watched as the girl examined her finger. What a priss, Elizabeth thought.

((I know it can be confusing at first, but everyone's getting the hang of it . Tuesday, Spring 2nd, Year 1.))

Elizabeth asked if Fauna was liking Mineral Town and she laughed derisively. "Not likely." she said with a snobbish sniff. "There's nothing to do here. How on earth do people have fun without shopping malls and dance clubs? Plus this entire town smells like..." she sniffed the air to confirm her observation. "dung." she concluded with a dramatized sigh.

"Anyway, at least my job isn't half bad." Fauna said a little more brightly.

((Tuesday, Spring 2nd, Year 1.))

Fauna was taken aback and her jaw dropped! What did she do to deserve that? Sticking her nose in the air and tightening her grip on her purse, she glared at the two other women.

"Hmph! Well, you obviously don't have a clue what you're talking about." she sniffed airily. "Of course, I wouldn't expect ignorant hicks to understand the real world. If you'll excuse me, I have to reapply my makeup... you know, IMPORTANT affairs of that sort." she announced loftily, making to stalk off in her stiletto pearl pink heels.

Elizabeth walked directly in front of Fauna.

"Hick? You think I am a hick? I have something to tell you darling, once you fall off that pedastal of yours, and your makeup all washes off, you might see yourself in a pond reflection, and you won't like what you see. This here in front of you, these three people, we're all real, and we don't need something important like makeup to cover up ourselves. Face reality, you're nothing but a girl who died on the inside when someone hurt her itty bitty feelings. Get over yourself and think of others' feelings," Elizabeth said. She then proceeded to storm into the kitchen and over to Ann.

Elizabeth immediately regretted yelling at Fauna. Granted, all of the stuff she had said was true, but she had no right to point it out. After taking a long walk, Elizabeth decided to apologize. Walking back to the inn, a single remorseful tear fell from her sullen face.

Black Heart Event
Elizabeth walked into the inn, and was greeted by a cheerful Ann. Noticing Elizabeth's sad expression, Ann thought of an idea.
"Hey, how about you have dinner with me and my dad, you look like you need some cheering up," Ann said. Elizabeth smiled and agreed. The two walked into the kitchen, and with Doug, they ate a marvelous dinner, after which Elizabeth shared her event with Fauna. Ann nodded, and said apologizing would be the right thing to do. Elizabeth impulsively hugged Ann and thanked her, walking to find Fauna.
End of Black Heart Event
Ann and Elizabeth's hearts went from Black to Purple

((Tuesday, Spring 2nd, Year 1.))

Every word Elizabeth said stung Fauna like a needle jabbing her heart. Her emerald eyes filled with tears but she pursed her lips and stalked away without a word, her heels clicking on the brick pathway.

Once she was back in the inn, she rushed upstairs to her room. Thankfully it was empty right now so Fauna collapsed on her bed and cried softly. Picking up her mirror, she looked at her reflection in the mirror and saw her eyeliner smudged down her cheeks. Elizabeth may not like her but what she didn't know was that Fauna didn't even like herself.

But this was her shell, and she was too frightened of being hurt again to leave it.

"Sora." Sora said, "We should check up on Fauna."

Sora and Supriya went upstairs to check on Fauna.

A young pink haired girl was at the door. She was spotless and beautiful. She walked up to her, but then remembered Fauna.

"Erm, Fauna?" Sora yelled, "We need to talk!"

There was no response so Sora looked at the pink haired girl.

"Erm....hi there." she blushed, "I love your hair..."

((Okay, well neither of you are online now so I'll just quickly post so that you don't have Fauna in the way when you come back . Wednesday, Spring 3rd, Year 1.))

Fauna had cried all night long and now her makeup was a big smear all down her face. Knocking at the door could be heard but she didn't care. The knocking persisted and Fauna decided to leave. She hated living here with so many other people but she worked here so it was convenient and she didn't know anyone who would let her live with them in this town... they'd hate her. Everyone in this town seemed to hate her.

Masking her smeared face with her long copper locks, Fauna quietly walked past the girls and out of the inn. Perhaps she'd go visit the beach. At least she'd be able to have some quiet time there.

Tuesday, Spring 2nd, Year 1

Kia had escaped Elizabeth, this time. She stayed out untill 11:00PM then silently went back to the inn. When she entered the bedroom everyone else was asleep. Kia crept to her bed and lay down, wide awake.

Wednesday, Spring 3rd, Year 1

Kia woke before all the other girls in the room. She made her bed and quietly went out of the room before anyone woke up. She walked to the beach and stood at the end of the dock, her white scarf flowing in the wind behind her.

Fauna sighed once she was at the beach and wiped her face clean in the ocean only to completely redo her makeup from her entire kit in her purse.

Another woman showed up and Fauna deliberately made no attempt to acknowledge her existence. Everyone in this hick village hated her. There was no point in having her feelings hurt even more.
