Fauna woke up the next morning and was feeling really good for the first time in a long time. As usual, she spent hours on her hair and makeup, making sure everty aspect of her appearance was flawless before stepping outside of her room.

She thought she'd go see Rick today and see if he had done any work on her shoe yet, but ended up spotting a handsome young man walking down the path. She raised an eyebrow. He's cute... she thought, walking up to him.

"Hi. I'm Fauna." she introduced herself with a flirty giggle, batting her eyelashes. Fauna flirted with almost every guy she laid eyes on. It was her way of making her feel better about herself.

Marco looked at her and thought woow. He grinned and said "Hey, Marco" with a wink.
He had met someone. FINALY. "So whatcha upto today? Want to come over to the shack I could whip you somethign up for breakfast.. or if you are doing soemthing thats fine." said Marco winking once more.

Fauna blushed and giggled. "Actually, I have to go and see a friend of mine. He doesn't live far. Would you like to come?" she asked in a high-pitch, girlish voice. "If you have other plans, you can always come see me sing at the bar on weeknights." she gushed.

She acted thrilled to be flirting with Marco, but something inside of her made her feel like this wasn't right. Rick kept popping into her head... and her heart.

"Well, I don't have any plans so we can go to your friends house" Marco said smiling.

As Fauna led him towords where they were going Marco felt very happy around Fauna like she was a friend a very pretty friend. He then realised Fauna had met him alone. Why was she here? Was she single? Was she stayign long? So many questions buzzed in hia head.


"What brings you to this umm...interesting? Town?" asked Marco grinning.

Fauna smiled and gave him a vague response. "Oh, just looking for a change that's all." she said evasively. She couldn't bring herself o talk about Greg. It still broke her heart to think of him.

As they stepped inside Rick's house, Fauna called out. "Rick, I came for a visit. I brought a friend." she said, introducing Marco. Rick shook his hand and nodded.

"Hello. Nice to meet you. I run the Poultry Farm here with my mom and sister." he said in a friendly manner.

"Hey man" said Marco shaking Rick's hand.

"What do yuo do on this farm anyways? I saw chickens so I assume th..." Lucas was cut off by a pink haired girl.

"RICK! Stop chatting and tell me who your friend is." screamed the pink haired girl.

"This is Macro, now be quiet Popuri.. yeah we own a chicken farm. Yodel farm to be exact." said Rick.

But Marco was stilling watching Popuri she was batting her eyelashes like Fauna did except instead of attracting him it scared him.

((Monday, Spring 8th, Year 1.))

Rick sighed and shook his head. "Marco, this is my sister, Popuri." he said flatly, rolling his eyes. Turning to Fauna, he smiled. "Hey, I've started working on fixing your shoe. It should be finished by tomorrow." he told her. "Sorry that you have to wait longer even though you came to pick it up today." he said sadly. Fauna blushed slightly and smiled.

"Actually... I just came to see you." she admitted softly, letting her fake girlish whiny voice drop for a moment. Rick's eyes lit up and he smiled.

"Really? That's really nice of you. I was actually kind of hoping I'd see you today anyway." he chuckled, going a little red.

((Their hearts went from black to purple.))

Marco felt angry, he could tell Fauna liked Rick. But why would he care she is just a girl. A beautiful girl, the kind who seemed amazing. She reminded him of Maddison, he felt even angrier.. Maddison. He looked around at this picture he wnated to do something. He needed a plan he had to get out. " Hey Fauna. You wan to come with me to the library." asked Marco hoping to get Fauna away from rick

Fauna bit her bottom lip. She really wanted to stay with Rick, but she couldn't be rude to Marco. She nodded and gave Rick an apologetic look. "I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer. Come see me sing tonight." she winked.

"I come to see you sing every night." Rick laughed as Fauna giggled and blushed before walking out with Marco.

"Why would you want to go to the library?" Fana asked, puzzled. Marco didn't seem like the reading type.
