_*What is a Roleplay?*_
Basically, it’s just a game where you choose a character, and write a story as if you were that character. You get to choose the name, personality, and what your character does is completely up to you.
_*How do I do it?*_
After creating your profile, you will write the story in the third person ((he, she, they, etc.)) of how your character meets new people, and what they do in the town.

_*What are the rules?*_
1.) Please try to keep your grammar and punctuation clean. Posts are much easier to read if you do the following:
- Use quotation marks around character’s dialogue ((what the person is saying))
- Use periods and commas to separate sentences.
- This is less important, but try to vary sentence structure. Don’t start every sentence with “she” or “he.”
- Try to use correct capitalization
This isn’t a “must-have,” but I find that correct grammar and punctuation help keep it clean and easier to read, so there’s no confusion as to what a character is saying or what the person is trying to do.
2.) Each post must be at least 3 lines long. Sentences and lines are different, lines are like:
LINE ONE
LINE TWO
LINE THREE
That doesn’t mean like this:
Sara shouted, “What are you doing!”
He replied back, “…nothing.”
Worried, Sara looked him in the eyes.
It means a good, 3-lined paragraph. If you insert the post and it comes out less than three lines, feel free to edit the post. But each one must be at least 3 lines long.
3.) Other content is to be separated clearly from the rest of the paragraph.
This basically means that if you want to say something out of context, you can do something like:

Hey, sorry I’m late, guys. My computer was broken! It doesn’t have to be a line, it can be in parenthesis, or whatever you wish. Just make it clear that the story and the other content are two different things.
4.) For now, there are no limits on posting.
There are no limits, such as “wait for three people to post after you before posting again.” Feel free to post as many times ((not double posting)) as you wish, under certain conditions. If there are three people posting and the posts are getting messed up, it’s your job to make a posting order, IF all three people are staying for a while. If not, one person may feel free to pop in and back out.
If this becomes a problem, someone contact me and I’ll be sure to straighten it out and edit the rules.
5.) Keep is strictly Harvest Moon related
Because this is HM: MFoMT and there is a special forum for RPing, the only way this can be allowed is if it’s strictly Harvest Moon related. You can create characters that aren’t in the game, but all themes and events must be Harvest Moon related.
This means that all occupations, animals, and items must be in the game. Of course other items are available for use ((toothbrushes, etc.)) but occupations are a must.
6.) Any and all questionable posts are to be reported.
To save a lot of conflict and fighting, any and all questionable posts are to be reported using the Report feature underneath the posts. Even if you’re unsure whether or not it should be reported, but it looks like it breaks any of the above rules, report it. You won’t get in trouble in any way, shape, or form if what you’ve reported isn’t something that needs to be taken care of, so you needn’t worry about “Will I get in trouble…? I don’t know if I’m supposed to report this…”

- Light drinking, such as wine and other religious/ceremonial drinks
- Light kissing
- Marriage ((gay, straight))
- Sleeping together ((just sleeping, no “action” ))
_*What isn’t allowed?*_
- Sexual content/activity
- Heavy drinking/alcohol use
- Drug use
- Inappropriate content such as torture and the like

_*Other Notes*_
For now, I’m going to ask that each person start out with only one character. To save confusion and to help people get situated to the new form of RP, I think it’s best if we have everyone control only one character.
There will be no character sharing, so please don’t share characters with another player. The character that you control will be yours, and yours only. Because of issues with personality and actions, I’m going to have to stay strict to this rule.
I have every right to add or change rules based on the behavior of the people posting, so please try to stay true to the rules. ^__^ I know you guys are all awesome, so you’ll be just fine <3

Biography: Her parents never had time for her and they would yell at her for no reason. At school her so called friends would make fun of her everyday. One day she was tired of her life and so she packed a small suitcase with her things and ran away. She dyed her black shiny hair to a dark blue, hoping that people would notice her. Personality: Well basically if you think of Muffy from the Wonderful Life series, you'll have Fauna almost to a tee. Fauna is very materialistic, shallow, and self-absorbed. She goes to ridiculous effort to look perfect. She's absolutely georgeous and she knows it. However, she isn't all bad. Despite her superficial flaws, Fauna has a good heart and can be a very selfless person at times. Her shallow ways are merely the product of hidden low self-esteem and it tends to make her viewed as a tramp by the other villagers.

On her thirtieth birthday, he kicked her out onto the street with no home and no money because she was getting too old and he needed a young woman to date to stay in the tabloids. Broken-hearted and her self-esteem shattered, Fauna stumbled upon Mineral Town, looking for a way to scrape by. Doug took pity on the poor woman and offered her a job at his inn as a singer and a place to stay.

((Monday, Spring 1st, Year 1. I'm putting the date on all my posts. It's not a requirement but I encourage it since it helps keep track of things a lot easier.  ))
Fauna weakly stumbled into the first large building she could find. It looked like an inn. Crying softly, she walked up to the counter where a gruff but kind-looking man was taking G at the register. He looked up in shock at this forlorn woman who looked so out of place here.
"Oh dear... you must have been through something terrible. Here, have a meal on the house." the man said kindly, putting a delicious-looking plate in front of her. "I'm Doug. I run this inn with my daughter, Ann. Who might you be?" he asked. Fauna nervously cleared her throat as another tear rolled down her cheek.
"Um... I-I'm Fauna." she whispered sadly, hating who she was at the moment. If she had any worth, Greg would never have thrown her away like that.
"So what brought you here, Fauna?" Doug asked, wiping a glass absent-mindedly. Fauna shook her head.
"I-I don't really want to talk about it..." she admitted softly and Doug nodded, giving her a sympathetic smile.
"Fair enough." he replied. "You must be needing a place to stay, right? A job, too? Let me see... can you cook, clean, manage finances or wait tables?" he asked.
"Um... I can sing." Fauna offered, seeing as how she'd be useless at everything Doug just mentioned.
"Great! You can be the nighttime entertainment for the bar. You start tonight and here's the key to your room. There's more beds in there for more girls. I hope you don't mind." Doug said apologetically. Fauna did mind. She hated sharing a room with anyone! WEll, except Greg, of course but that was a very painful story. In spite of herself, Fauna smiled at Doug's kindness.
"Thank you." she said, her tears beginning to dry and subside.

History: She was once a normal girl in the village of Murasaki, but a ninja clan invaded the village and killed most of the occupants. They noticed that Floyd was taught how to battle for self-defence, so they took her with them and made her serve under the clan leader. She was forced to steal and obey.

"Silence! Leave."
Floyd stood up, bowed and left. When she went out, two armoured men grabbed her and threw her in a boat, and quickly pushed it away before she could jump back onto the surface. She was abandoned by her clan.

Hours past and went by quickly.
'There is no meaning to my life now. Might as well end it.'
Floyd thought as she was about to jump off the boat. But a distinct figure stopped her. It looked like a little island. She rowed closer to the place, and saw there was a deck. No one was there.
'Good,'
She thought. Floyd jumped out of the boat when she was near enough to the deck and examined the area. There were two little cottages and a stair leading upwards. She sprinted to the stairs and walked steadily when she reached it. The next area appeared empty also so Floyd lowered her guard, but was still cautious. While she was walking she spotted a man about her age walking towards her. Floyd took out her spears and stood her ground.

Yes, you may create a boy for Lyla if you'd like. He will become an NPC who is playable by everyone, however. No one else can be romantic with him except you though, since you claimed him.

The boy froze. He quickly turned back and ran away. Floyd ran after him and grabbed his arm.
"Who are you??" she said as she slightly shook him.
"...i'm just.. an ordinary guy who lives in this town! Leave me alone!"
Floyd let go of his arm and the boy tumbled and fell.
"Are you alright? Sorry if i was a little harsh.." she said she she helped him get up.
"..i'm fine." he freed his arm from Floyd's grasp.
"Good to hear. What is your name?"
"You tell me first.."
"Floyd. Now you tell me."
"..Cliff.. sorry i have to go now.."
"Wait! Do you know anywhere i can stay?"
"You can stay.. in the inn. But you need to pay to stay there. Ask the inn keeper for a job. Sorry, i really have to go now." he said as he scurried away.
'What the heck is an inn??'
Floyd thought as she walked on. She saw a little girl.
"Umm.. hello there! Do you know where the inn is?" she asked as she bent down to the girl's height.
The girl looked at Floyd for a second, then looked away. She walked on, while tugging on Floyd's hand indicating her to follow. When the finally reached a big-looking cottage, the little girl let go of Floyd and walked away. Floyd waved her a goodbye and entered the cottage.

Monday, Spring 1st, Year 1Supriya walked and walked for miles. She thought about her so called friends and how they would make fun of her everyday. She cried as she stumbled upon a sign board. "Mineral Town" it said. "Yay," she thought. She had finally reached a town. "I hope I can stay here for a little while" she said quietly to herself. She walked past what seemed like an Inn. She entered and saw a man behind the counter. "Um hello, can I have a room here?" she asked him. "Why of course you can and what might your name be? I'm Doug, the owner of this Inn." he said. She looked at him and said with a bright smile on her face "I'm Supriya and thank you so much Doug." she said. "That is no problem, you can stay for as long as you like." Doug replied. Doug handed her the key to her room and she walked upstairs. She opened the door, it was such a small room. But she didn't mind. She noticed that there was more then one bed, she guessed that Doug forgot to mention she would have to share a room. Supriya hoped that she could make a new friend, it would be a dream come true for her. She started to unpack her things. Supriya had little money and she knew that sooner or later she would have to get a job. -------- How's that for a start? I edited Supriya's profile, by the way.

Monday, Spring 1st, Year 1
It was a dark cloudy day of the seas that Yukina sailed.It was as if the goddess her self was watching over her,and thundering above her and saying not to die.
Yukina put her feet at the rail of the boat.Her arms behide her on the pole of the boat.It was a scene like titanic, expect there was no lover holding her in his arms.It was the death angel holding her.She looked above her, and saw lighting. She gasped. "There is nothing for me to live for, goddess!! You have taken everything from me! There is no need for me!!" Yukina yelled at the sky with tears falling from her face. Yukina grabbed the knife that was in her pocket.She pointed it to her heart "There will be no more need for pain, that hurts so much in my heart." She said softly. Just as she was about to stab herself into her heart.Lighting hit the rail below her making her fall into the sea.
Yukina was drowning,She smiled to her self. "I will die like my family did." She closed her eyes and headed for the bottom of the sea."Yukina my dear open your eyes.There is need for you to die yet." said the goddess. Yukina's eyes went wide open.The goddess put her hand on Yukina's heart.She said a spell and left her where she was.
Yukina's body soon landed up in a small town called Mineral Town.
