I'd say Axel because he'll sometimes dissapear in a fire wall and do surprise attacks on Demyx. Unless Demyx can attack him fast enough, Axel will definately beat him.

I agree with what everyone have said about Axel winning.

Ah, but judging from the huge fire pillars that Axel can send from the ground, their elements nullify each other.

But not in a video game . 'Kay but really, the whole "10 forms, 10 seconds" thing is incredibly unrealistic. If he actually had a timer that could mean the end of your existance, then he'd be the most powerful thing on earth. So I really don't think that would be a good factor to use in order to decide who would win this battle.

Well, I never heard anything about when numbers 7-13 joined. They do tend to grow stronger as the numbers rise or they have something else they contribute.

That would imply that, say, Luxord is stronger than Marluxia, which, of course, he isn't (otherwise, he may have been appointed as lord of Castle Oblivion). Besides, the cutscene with Xigbar and Zexion states that, on Marluxia's recruitment, there were 11 in the Organization, which meant that Larxene and Roxas still has yet to join. So, it's the order in which they joined.

I would say Axel, simply because of his courage in battle. Demyx has to be forced into a fight before he'll even consider taking up arms, while Axel would readily strike down his fellow Organization members. He's simply more proactive, and, thus, would have more fighting experience.

Besides, his chakrams make more effective weapons that Demyx's phallic sitar...
