Hi, I go by the name of Ding Chavez. My favorite players are Anna Kournikova (he he) and Lleyton Hewitt.
I got the game 5 days ago and already my guy is ranked 3rd in the world and is fully trained, but I'm finding it hard to win a Grand Slam. I keep going to the Oceania Tennis Champs but I keep getting beaten by Sebastien Grosjean and a guy named Blake etc. etc. And what's with Robredo? He's ranked 41 and he's almost better than my guy!

yeah when i played career mode I could onli win most the major pro and below tournaments.
I've lost 3 matches earlier in my career. 2 of them against michael chang (1 in a Grand Slam and 1 in major Pro) and also Grosjean in another Grand Slam. Since my third loss I've been unbeaten. I've stil had a few close ones against speed demons like Hewitt and Grosjean.
I found out as the more I play, the improvements I have had against some of these top players is that I lost or struggle against them is because I keep persisting with a power game. I kept wacking the ball as hard as i could but they just had excellent returns. By now I've fully developed a more in depth game plan where I use a lot of drop shots, top spins, and sometimes lobs. All this together puts my opponent off balance and allows me to totally dominate the match. Since you're player is fully trained, you've got to utlize his/her strength to cover ur weaknesses. Dun just rely solely on brute force, and make sure you more around the court constantly to anticipate the next shot. Players like Grosjean will kill you if u spend too much time staying in the one spot.
