Alright, first, the story:

So I'm messing around the airport in San Fierro, and I go to these HUGE tanks next to the water on the right side of the airport. I look in between and see a rocket launcher, I think "Wow, kick ass, I have to keep coming back for these so I can get some more" or something like that. Well, after I got the first round, I went back to get some more.

I'm driving on my baggage carrier heading back to the big tanks.

And then it happened.

I went back there, and right there floating, what I would guess, 10 feet off the ground is this white light. I stared at it for like, 15 seconds wondering "wtf is that?", then it hit me to go get the digi cam and take a couple pics.

It was white, and made a weird buzzing sound, and it would get brighter and bigger, then darker and smaller, but not to dark, it was still clearly visible. I walked all around it to make sure that it wasn't something off in the distance, and it wasn't. It was just floating there. I then decided to walk in between the other tanks to make sure that there wasn't one there to, and there wasn't, so I went back to the other one and it had left. I didn't know where it went, or what it was, but here's a pic:



Note: The ONLY editing I've done to this picture is to make it smaller. It used to be at 1280 by 960 or something, so i narrowed it down 35% or something, I can't remember. If you all want, I can PM you the huge picture, because that is a lot clearer than this smaller one.

So, what do you all think it is? I personally have no idea, and would like to hear what you all have to say about it.

I at first thought it was the moon also, but then I kept walking around it and it wasn't the moon. It wasn't high up enough to be the moon shine either.

EDIT: I'll go get a camera to see if it is a photo op. If it is, then I'm going to feel like a real dumbass.

orr a light you said you walked around it? and made a buzzin sound hmm youre not lying are you becouse if you are just say it now other wise were gonna have a 5 thread bigfoot thing happening again

exactly, take the camera with you, use it, an icon will appear where the light was before, make a picture with the camera, u should get a message on screen.. this light marks the important "take a photo of this" places

long time ago i already posted a gif animation of such a photo op light somewhere but it's really old news

Lol, I will admit though, when I first seen it, I did think photo op, but then the buzzing happened and I thought again.

I still don't know why it was buzzing though...pretty crazy.

Ok, can we keep the "what a dumbass" comments at a minimum please? They haven't started yet, but I figured they would come unless I said something.

EDIT: I guess I may as well tell you, that was my 14th photo, thanks guys. Lol.

also, buzzings can be a whole lot off things...

i have the game running through a reciever and i have most sound go through that (the speakers have more bass and can be equalized), and when nothings going through them they hum, like any other speaker

also theres always wierd hummings that i hear in the game when theres no other sounds (non speaker related hummings)
