If it says 11/1 you will get 22,000, if it says 12/1 you will get 24,000. It is pretty much completely random, just don't put all your money up for bet on one race. Think of it this more this way, if you have luck with it you will get into the 100 thousands. If you bet 100,000 you will get 1.1 million or 1.2 million. If you bet a million and win, you get 11 - 12 million, and if you dare bet 10 million and win you get 110 - 120 million. Sounds like easy money doesn't it?

The method I use to get the dinero rolling in is to start off the way everyone else has. But when I get the 120k or so, (after saving) I bet 20k on the worst horse multiple times until I am out. Then reload and try again. Keep doing the same thing after winning. That is, bet a smaller portion. I think you will hit it big sooner if you don't have to load after each bet. If anyone knows something about statistics and calculus, and has a lot of free time, they could set up something in Excel to find the optimum amout to bet.

I've kept track of the horses before. Like the blue horse loses one, and its 2/1 I would bet on that horse, but I believe its completely random on who wins, it may just be a slightly lower chance for the 12/1 horse and a slightly higher chance for the 2/1 horse. Might as well stick with the green.

The way I would recommend to do it for someone who has say 10 grand. Bet 500. then when you win off that, do a thousand, unless you are still under 10 grand. when you get to 50 grand bet 5 grand. If it lowers to around 20-30 grand switch back to 1 grand. When you get up to 100 grand bet 10 grand. When you get to around 500k - 1 million bet 100 grand, and you will be a millionare each time you win. If you are on a massive losing streak, you might want to call it a day. Just make sure whenever you get a big win, save right away. Don't get caught up in the game, I have before and I barely made it out, I was resting on my last bit of money. Now I go in from time to time, and put down 100k until I win, then I leave. I feel like I seem to have better luck when I just pop in, many times I won on the first race.

is it possible the game "knows" what you are doing?
i tried horse betting right after I saved... went strait to the place but couldn't win ANYTHING. but when I do a mission first, then go to the horseplace and bet on a bad horse I win every time... Or am I just lucky.
ow well, got me enough money.. to do nothing actually, I haven't done the mission yet that unlocks AmmuNation. :S

How are you people winning? No matter what horse I choose, I don't win.
