Drastic Changes in Gameplay?

I was thinking, were pretty much used to the other GTA's, and I know a lot of people complained Vice City wasn't as fun just because you knew how the game worked, and in GTA3 you were totally new to the format so you didn't know how anything worked.

What type of new style could they change the game to make a new way to learn and play.

Just to get the ball rolling, in the old GTA games instead of a storyline there was a point system to get to new levels and the story didn't revovle on you, but you working for different people that are a storyline. Like how the Loonies are mad at Zaibatsu for controlling their drugs.

What if San Andreas had you working for different gangs and you got to see the different angles of things, for example if this were in GTA3, you got Triad missions and get to see how they deal with their factory being blown up or whatever.

Changing the gameplay to where you have to obtain stats would be pretty cool, like if you can get a 6 star wanted level it will raise your speed by 1, or whatever.

I just want more improved A.I for example when you kill some1 every one starts running and dosent pass through that area for some time,and when you shoot somebody you could see the bullet hole and see them dying.Plus!more new shit.

I thod of one idea to get money.If it's in las vegas or something you should be able to gamble.That would be somethimg that gta games don't have.Plus it would be cool if it was in tijuana and las vegas,like you were in las vegas and if you want to go to tijuana you go to the airport,while your traveling they show a video or you could play in the airplane but you should be able to skip all that if you get bored or something.

Yes, this game is going to be on the same engine. R* has said they are going to completely do a new engine for GTA IV, that will be released for PS3.

So I don't think this game will be drasticly changed in anyways, but you never know what kinds of surprises R* has up their sleeves.....besides their arm's of course.....

Well if they keep this simple they will be able to implement a LOT more idea's into the GTA series for PS3 which in turn will balance out as a much better gaming experience

they NEED changes. vice was only gta3 with a new city...and it got boring much quicker
