Am I the only one, or is there anyone else who misses the vehicle-machine-guns and vehicle-mines from GTA 2?

I miss them too, a lot!

I expected them in GTA: III, VC, and SA, but to my dissapointment they were no more. Just imagine what you could of done with all those vehicle mounted weaponry in a 3-D game! Would have been awesome. Unfortunately the only one they kept was the tank one.

I thought the marine boat would have an accessable mounted gun in SA, it had one but you couldnt use it.

This is where I got my first ever GTA game. GTA 2. The download took only 40 minutes. I had plaid GTA 2 and Vice City at a friend's place before tho.

It'll be worth it, but GTA 1 is total shit. I deleted it like 5 minutes after downloading it.

YEAH, GTA2 rocks. But GTA1 was like crap!
Thank God R* are still giving away these game for FREE!

I still think that GTA II beats the 3D games.

There are only 2 things missing from GTA 2:

• Bridges to connect the areas. If the areas are too big for some old consoles, then the bridges should be so long, that the different areas aren't on screen at the same time. That would allow the game some loading time.
• Safehouses in the neutral zones. I know about the churches, but I mean real safehouses, whit garages.

The atmosphere was awesome.

• The audience.
• That voice, example: "Mission passed".

Yeah, MISSION PASSED tone of GTA:SA is awesome and one of the best Mission Passed tones of GTA games! I love it!
The pedestrains are BEST and are BETTER than GTA4!
Because...
we can interact with them,
they look cool,
they say cool lines,
their comments changes depending on APPEARANCE of CJ!

e.g.- If CJ wears good cloths...

Pedistren: Man,you look good!
CJ: options-
a)Positive: Thanks, I am geared!
b)Negative: Hey, don't lie to me! Go away,Dude!

If CJ is wearing default cloths(cloths which CJ wears when starting GTA:SA game)
Pedistren: Looks like today is laundry day....!?
CJ: options-
a)Positive: Go away dude! Please!
b)Negative: F**k off, a**hole!

Some PS1 games can still be fun to play.
I played Overblood a couple of times a while ago.
And Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger.

And the first GTA game on the PS1 was also quite fun.
I always drove over those hari-khrisnas or whatever they were.
Bonus points if you drove them all over in one go.

Ofcourse, they didn't add them anymore in later games, because of obvious reasons: some people got offended.
