I was just sorting through my file and I found something that someone sent me quite a while ago. But still, I found it hilarious so I'd thought I'd post it. I didn't think he finished it, but it would've been nice to see the end.

The Footballer

Blank was a great footballer. He is currently 19 years old and plays for unknown team Haddington Athletic. This player when he played would dazzle the opposition players with his pace and skill on the ball.

Blank soon had turned Haddington from one of the Leagues lowest clubs into a team challenging for a top 6 place. It was not all down to him but when he played well he inspired the other players to play well.

Now it was the Scottish cup. Haddington were looking to get into the 1st round and attract more people to watch their games. But before they could do that they had to see off the challenge of non-league team Perth.

Now this game meant a lot to Haddington in the essence that they had to win to get into the Scottish cup. They started off pretty badly with Perth swamping their box with crosses and shots. At half time the Haddington Manager was furious at his team for not doing enough to get the ball into the opponents half. The second half started off the same way as the first. Perth kept on putting on the pressure but they still could not finish off the game! After 90 minutes had been played Haddington’s defence cleared the ball up the park and there was no one there but the little wonder kid Blank. Blank got onto the ball, rounded the keeper and scored. 1-0 Haddington. After that there was not enough time for Perth to get an equalizer and Haddington were through.

Now unknown to Haddington their season was about to go down the drain. Unknown to Haddington one of the spectators at the ground was a scout for Hearts FC. Now he had been watching Blank for some time and this was the day of his report. He was very impressed with this youngster and said to the Hearts Manager Craig Levien “Buy him now”

It was a cold dreary Sunday morning. Blank was in bed watching a film. It was during this film that he went to sleep again. He woke up 2 hours later, and knew his life was going to change for the better. He didn’t know how or why he felt that but he just did.

Meanwhile at Hearts FC the Haddington team manager was in talks with the Hearts manager Craig Levein. Hearts would offer a lot of money for Blank but whatever Hearts offered Haddington refused.

just got a classic message on my game...some nottingham forrest player is out for 2 months with a torn groin muscle..."after falling off a ladder"!!

Has anyone else noticed that since non-members were allowed to create threads the 03/04 forum has been filled with rubbish? Nearly all the threads are closed because of some idiot wanting to know if Henry or Van Nistleroy "Is any good?"

A lot of the members here arnt exactly great either.
