Right, I'm just playing a La Liga game I have going and it made me think...

Real Madrid 'B' are in Segunda Division B2, is it possible for them to keep getting promoted to La Liga, and can I then control them when they play my Real Madrid 'A'. Has anyone ever done this?

I havent done it in this CM, but my nate did it on CM2. He managed to sign enough good players that his A team finished 3rd, while his B team finished 2nd. I dont know if you can stilldo it on this one, and I'm not sure how it would work with Champions League and stuff

That's a good point, your 'B' team could become better than you. If you ended up getting relegated and they stayed in La Liga.

I guess it would work the same in real life, weird.

i'm sure that your A-team and B-team cant play in the same league, therefor if your b-team got promoted then they would stay in the same league.

the only scenario i could see is that the b team would get promoted while the a team got relagated

It could still involve serious match fixing though, you'd be gauranteed 6 points each season before you start.

It would be an itresting scenario on the last day of the season if you were playing your 'B' team and you needed to win for the league and they needed to win to stay up.

If you take controll of real madrid you can take both teams throughout the season but the B team cannot get promoted to la liga, it's the same in Germany with Bayerns B team.

Is Scotland the only country on CM that you have to have 2 under 21 year olds on your team for every league game? I started a new season in Scotland for the first time and it took me by surprise when I couldn't play my prem games with atleast 2 u21's somewhere on my team. Just wondering.

Aye, I believe it's a good rule, since you have to give a chance to youngsters.

It's a good rule in principle, since it forces you to put youngsters on the bench at least. However, with the state of Scottish football lately clubs have about 8 or 9 youngsters in their team anyway, and the U21's dont even need to be Scottish.

I'm looking forward to the 7 subs next season though, i can never get enough people on the bench

It also kinda stops you from loading your team with a bunch of veteran players because you'd never really get a chance to play them. Nah, it doesnt change on CM, will be on FM though i suppose
