Patching

There's a few random patch threads around about specifics but I thought I would start this.

I just basically want all the big teams on the game with good kits and updated players.

I have been told by the reliable Xpronic that the Wolf patch is best to install, which Im sure it is if it has updated Everton on it!

What other patches and add-ons should I download to make my PES more exciting? Also what's the best sites to get the downloadables from, I know of PESInsight and ProEvolutiOnline.

re: Patching

X, what's that patch I've got called? (the fooking huge one that took me hours to download?)

I can't seem to find it on my PC..

Anywho, that one is a good one, though depending on weather you want the Premiership and Champion's League or you want just Champion's League and UEFA Cup then you chose from the two I've got.

I liked the Wolf patch, but it had no music when you score in the stadium and the music it had in the main menus and other places were still the original music..

Anyway, is there a newer patch out anywhere X? A new Wolf patch perhaps?

re: Patching

Here is the link to the MEGA patch that has everything you'll want and more.

MEGA PATCH

Features:

- all teams of UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2003/2004
- all names corrected
- all transfers up to 30/03/04 added e.g. Davids to Barcelona, Reyes to Arsenal
- all club players look more realistic now-> corrected height, weight, hairstyle, haircolour of all club players
- all ingame faces added correctly to the right players (over 200 original faces make the game look more realistic)
- back numbers of all club teams/players corrected
- corrected colours for all the back numbers
- affiliation of all the player's shoes corrected, every player wears now the boots, which he wears in reality e.g. Vieira wears Supernovas, Ashley Cole Adidas F-50 etc.
- no players twice in the game
- no id-bugs
- corrected affiliation of the stadiums, every team plays now in the stadium, which is locally the nearest to it; the Master League takes completely place in Europe now/ turkish teams play in Germany(Olympiastadion)
- Formations of all the teams corrected: I decided not to use realistic formations, because I didn't want superstars or player's with really good stats to use as substitutes.
- numbers on the player's shorts removed, because they lay often on the team logos
- corrected affiliation of boots: e.g. Vieira wears Supernovas, Ashley Cole Adidas F-50 etc
- corrected radar colours
- corrected team colours of all the club teams: their fans/supporters wear now clothes in the team's colours
- all club, national and referee kits included
- new keeper gloves, assigned correctly to the teams
- corrected stadium names, corrected referee names
- stadium updates for all the european stadiums in the game: all Konami, WE etc. banners were replaced with the right banners of each stadium
- 9 different boots: 4 are editable/ 5 non-editable boots: Adidas Gun Metal Predators, Adidas Supernovas, Adidas Red Predators, Adidas F-50, Adidas Predator Lunar
- all wefa-texts/ wefa pictures in the menu replaced with UEFA-texts or pics
- CL-menus + CL-scoreboard
- new CL-Ball
- CL-banners
- new background music: A little less conversation, Football's coming home, Samba de Janeiro, Carnaval de Paris, We will rock you added for menu music, CL-anthem as entrance music, We are the Champions as stadium and menu music after a won competition, Freestyler for the highlights during the match: all the new music complete and in CD quality
- 6 goal jingles assigned to the correct stadiums: Hey Baby, Tumbthumbing, I will survive, Carnaval de Paris, Samba de Janeiro, Song 2, ATTENTION: Goal jingles are not played after every goal, they're played, if you play in the ***, **** or ***** level of difficulty and it doesn't work in every stadium

Toninio there isn't a newer wolf pc patch, the patch above ^ is newer than the wolf patch.

re: Patching

Yea, that's the patch I have!

I was just hoping that there was another newer patch out

There are a few things I'm not too happy about, just a couple of little things, like playing 'Freestyler' for the highlights? Why not the Samba music or the It's a Beautiful Day thing from the Premiership (like Wolf's patch )

The Premiership teams were in Wolf's patch too, every team including the likes of Wolves and Pompey.

The flags are still terrible on both patches mind you.

re: Patching

Is there any problem with using them with the official patch?

Also, I guess it is still possbile to import new flags etc. into the wolf patch?

re: Patching

There is no problem using them with the offiical patch from Konami.

You can get seperate kits, boots, flags, ad boards, music (commentry, replays, menus, highlights etc), crowd chants, menu styles, and balls.

You can find ALOT of patches at the ISS, WE & PES forum from the SoccerGaming site.

re: Patching

I downloaded the Wolf patch. However it won't let me install it.

If I open the AFS explorer that came with the patch & it tells me the data file is corrupt. However, I use another AFS explorer I downloaded and it works fine...But when I go to install the patch it says "File not found!!! Can't apply patch".

Any ideas?

Have you set your version to PES3 PC (I think it's automatically set to WE7 PC)
