GameCube No Audio |
|
I have an Emerson SDTV and my GameCube has been playing just fine on it. Though there are wavy lines that appear every time I turn on the Gamecube (which I get rid of by pressing the menu button, then channel setup, and I choose AUTO PRESET CH(TV/DTV). However, I later chose to do this channel preset when the Gamecube was off (when everything was hooked up and it was on channel 3 with static). I noticed that channels started to pop up which said something like D 8 01. The RF adapter was plugged into the back of the tv (which is a Pelicon RF adapter that can hook up to the PS One/Two XBOX/360 and GameCube/Nintendo 64) which is why these channels appeared. Now as for this RF adapter, it does not have any yellow, red, white cords--it is just one cord that simply plugs into the ANT. IN jack in the back of the tv from the game system.
It looks exactly like this: https://www.cliffracer.com/store/images/pl934full.jpg Now I turned on the GameCube and chose the same preset again which got rid of those channels and displayed the game. However, this time there is no audio in the game. I tried everything I possibly could, but now there is no audio whatsoever. This message was edited by Astro Xana on Nov 16 2009.

Did you check your audio/video cords to make sure they're properly functioning?

there is also a chance of what im suspecting, its migth be problem of the connection ports there is a chance that they are starting be a little loose and im meaning that the base is losing its joints, it migth be a good idea to seek a TV technician to check up the video port and audio port or the audio ports if you have the yellow/white/red or just the plain Yellow/white or yellow/red, also if you have a diferent set up make the tech give a full check up to the TV.

quote Astro XanaInteresting, a foreign device like this could easily glitch up as I see it. Why not try switching to a regular audio/visual hookup? -------------------
