I have the Far Cry Demo running great with everything maxed! (including command console tricks like d3d ps2.0 and max water reflections). I bought and installed the game and installed the full version of the 1.4 patch (on the same PC as the Demo) but the game has random crashes (black screen, no sound) even on crappy medium settings (low settings look terrible!).
Is the Demo that much better playing (coded) than the retail version? Or are there necessary tweaks to get it to stop crashing that I dont know about? Thanks | |

well ive got the retail version and the demo version and i have to say the actuall games works ALOT better
