re: Farcry -devmode command

I HOPE THIS SOLVES YOUR BROBLEM

Password - Developer Mode Codes
Locate the DevMode.lua file in your Far Cry directory. Open the file using a text editor and copy the following contents into the very end of the DevMode.lua file.
-----
function ToggleGod()
if (not god) then
god=1;
else
god=1-god;
end
if (god==1) then
System:LogToConsole("God-Mode ON");
else
System:LogToConsole("God-Mode OFF");
end
end
Input:BindCommandToKey("#ToggleGod()","backspace",1);
-----
Save the DevMode.lua file, and start a Far Cry game by adding -devmode at the end of the games's executable. [Right-click the game's shortcut, go to Properties, then Target, then add to the end " -devmode".] You can then use all of the following codes in-game and all levels will be unlocked.
Tips:
*Create a New Profile and use that profile to save games in Developer Mode so that you do not modify your original profiles saves and levels.

*Be sure to backup your original devmode.lua file. To start a regular Far Cry game, remove the -devmode from your shortcuts Target under its Properties menu.

No clipping on/off F4
Go to next checkpoint F2

Default Speed F5
Save Current Position F9
Load Current Position F10

Toggle GodMode Backspace

That mod is for Far Cry (1), not Far Cry 2. I sorta doubt d/loading it and attempting to apply its devmode.lua to FC2 will result in any progress towards enabling cheats.

re: Farcry -devmode command

Hey guys. Yeah, I know what you mean. I am looking for the devmode.lua file in far cry 2 myself. I have played the first one and remember doing all this similar stuff back then, but there is no such file for Far Cry 2. Limited information on net as well. I see plenty of codes for maps and worlds and stuff, but ammo, god mode etc.. all seems to be info for FC1. Does anyone here actually own and has played FC2 successfully with cheats enabled? Please respond for us dickheads that don't know what we're doing. lol. Thankyou.
