Migrating in AoWSM

Hi
I am new to Age of Wonders II Shadow Magic and I do not understand city migration.
What is it, and how do I use it? I cannot find it in the manual.If I capture a city I cannot do anything with it. I then find that after so many turns the city is re-occupied and I have to fight for it again.

Certain races will like you and certain races won't : it all depends on your alignment and whether you have the skill Peace Keeper or not. A city will automatically migrate if the race doesn't like you. The city will rebel unless you leave forces in there until the migration is complete. If you look at the City Morale bit (above the production, gold, etc) If it is in Unrest or Anarchy, then your forces aren't sufficent to hold it. For example, if you are Shadow Demons without Peace Keeper and take an Elf town, then they will rebel against you. Migrations typically take 3 or 5 turns, depending on how close you are to the race in migration.

There´s another migration thing on this game. When you play as nomad´s, you can migrate, not in the meaning of changing you town inhabitants, but in the meaning of moving your town. To do this (only as nomad´s!) u need to go to the city panel, to the third button (the one in wich you can raze or loot the city) and you will see the nutton migration. Then u click there, and the city will transform into a caravan, and you can put it in another place. Just like a pioner would. But, of course, the city remains all it´s improvements. But this is not a good ability, if you ask me.
