Ok,

I must be over looking something because I can't get the flamer to work.

I know I've picked it up, and when I try to use it like any other weapon nothing happens.

Suggestions please!

when i use the flamer it works fine no problems you must have a faulty version of the game

So the flamer should work regardless of how close you are to the target (another ship)?

If not please explain how you get it to work.

Yeah it should work no matter where you are... if you are going REALLY fast when you use it you can't see it so well. it's a crappy weapon anyway, so you're not missing much

Yeah, flamer = rubbish.
My favorite weapon is the quake.

PFFT!!! You guys don't know what your saying! Sure its tricky to use but when your in a straight area tap it so you won't waste as much ammo. It especially helps if your trying to wipe someone out when you have a fully upgraded weapon system.
