It's that month of the year again folks. It's time to nominate your fellow forum participants and award them with honors.

Alright, the members have chosen the forum and member awards categories and now members can vote for each who they want to see receive awards for these categories.

So now for the guidelines.

All votes must be sent via pm to Vandal. If you don't know how to send pm's, just follow the voting guidelines, and click the to vote link at the end.

Every person can submit one set of votes for each category. If you have more than one account, please do not be tempted to vote more than once because if you do and I find out about it, I'll have no choice but to disqualify you from receiving votes, (all votes you recieve will be scrapped) and also your votes for others will be void. I've never seen a problem with this in the past, but I want it to be fair for everyone.

To qualify for voting, you must have been a member of Neoseeker before July 1, 2004, and you must have at least 10 posts or replies in any XBOX forum as of July 1, 2004. Anyone else can meet this guideline and be ready to vote next year, but in order to be fair, voters should already have familiarity with the forums and the members. Yes, I do really check for this.

You may cast up to three votes for each category and each category will have 3 winners. There will be 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place for each category. Please label the names next to each person you are voting for with an A | B | C . Members who are given an A will get 3 points from your vote. Members who are given a B will get 2 points from your vote. Members who are given a C will receive on point. Be sure to put the letter next to their names or they will be defaulted in order of first to last with an autmatic A, B, or C, A being given the first, B being given to the 2nd, and C being given to the third. If you nominate more than 3 people for each category, any name after the 3rd will be omitted from the voting, regardless of whatever message you may type about this.

Votes must be submitted on or before July 21, 2004 EST(NA).

I'm doing the vote tallying and I support all members of the forums. Please do not vote for me. This isn't saying that any of you would or wouldn't but to cast any doubt of possible tampering with the votes, you are not allowed to vote for me. Any votes for me will be void and you won't be asked to resubmit for someone else either.

If you for some chance decide to change your vote before the closure of the voting window, you may resubmit your vote, but be sure to note that your are doing so in the subject of the pm and in the message body. This way I easily void out your previous vote and don't have to start recounting them.

To submit your votes, I'd appreciate it if you keep the list of categories in order and be sure to include each category that your are voting for with the members and letters for each vote. In the past people have mistakingly left this out.

You can not vote for yourself or for another account you own.

All votes will be considered anonymous. Who you voted for will not be shared with any other members, guests, moderators, or members of the Administration.

Be sure to label the subject as XBOX AWARDS. You may put read receipts and I recommend that you also keep a copy in your saved messages should something happen to the pm. You will notice that your pm will be read well before vote time, but I don't read them in advance of vote tally so please don't send in requests to see who is in the lead of each category.

Ok, so let's see some votes and spread the word to all the forums so that more people can be aware and participate. Don't forget that you can advertise in your signature as well.

Winners will be announced within several days after the voting ends. Winners for 1st 2nd and 3rd place of each category will be awarded based on how many points were given to each and the highest point totals will win.

I would like to see all moderators of XBOX forums to please promote the xbox wide awards in their individual forums as well. How you wish to do that is up to you of course.

Ok, updated the list. They all seem ok so far.

Sorry to nit pick again but for Best Newcomer shouldn't you make some sort of parameters like less than 6 motnhs or something.

I think that 6 months would have to be the max, but typically it's been more like 3 months in the past. Now that the forums have been here for sometime we could easily add more, but I'm leaving that up to the members to decide.
Only 1 more day to pick categories you'd all see.

I wouldn't mind seeing a category devoted to Xbox Live. Best overall Live player? Or weirdest voice?!

I believe we had something like that last year. It was like The least favorite award and people got offended by it.

Or maybe that was the Neo Awards. Oh God I forget. Maybe Vandal can shed some light on that subject.

I'm pretty sure that Vandal takes himself out of the voting for these types of things. Probably to give us poor saps a chance. If not our names in the winners circle would vanish like a virgin on prom night.
