64-bit graphics? |

Missey: Which Xbox console contains 64-bit graphics? (I don't think that the original Xbox had 64-bit graphics.)

Bit ratings for graphics died around the point that ATI and NVIDIA were pushing 256bit. After that Vertex Pipelines, shader engines and other technologies took priority over all else.
Even the RIVA was featured as a 128bit chip and that was a decade back at least. The Xbox launched and continued to use the NV2A chip based off the GeForce 3 series. The CPU itself is 32bit using X86 instructions. So basically there was never a 64bit GPU as it would have been painfully archaic to include in the machine. ------------------- ![]() | |

Bill Gates might have made the Xbox 64! Xbox 64 is a 32-bit and 64-bit combined Xbox console!
