WiFi Adapter? |
|
Hello! I've got a question. I have a old xbox and been thinking about getting xbox live. Only one problem. The only thing cable wise to connect to xbox live is the ethernet cable. Well in my house, my room is a good ways from the family shared PC. However, we installed Wifi in the house so I could use my Wii, DS, and PSP, as well as for my stepmom and sister. My question is, is there a wifi adapter for the xobw so I don't have to buy a 30ft cable and pin it on the ceiling?

You can use a Wireless Bridge (Sometimes called a Wireless Gaming Adapter) to do this. It's a small box that you connect to the Xbox via ethernet, that then connects to your wireless network. You set it up via a PC first, then the Xbox just thinks it's a standard cabled ethernet connection.
Something like the Linksys WET54G is what you need ------------------- ![]() | |
