BJ Blazkowicz is back in Wolfenstein: The New Order, but he tends not to take much focus in the new trailers and screenshots we see. We know what he looks like, anyway (pretty good, in fact), but the Third Reich's new incarnation is definitely worth exploring.
Sure, they're not "new" in the sense that we've never seen them before. After all, MachineGames has to keep enough familiarity here for it to be era- and Wolfenstein-specific. Still, the Nazi regime is back with a fresh coat of paint, and armed to the teeth with weapons we haven't necessarily seen up until now.
Either way, a couple of new screenshots emerged today showing off more Third Reich stuff, including some Nazi baddies in power suits, and another damn robot dog. Those guys aren't a lot of fun when you're the poor schmuck getting chased around. Seriously though, The New Order looks so pretty, and our time with the game certainly left good impressions.
Wolfenstein: The New Order will be out some time next year, after being delayed due to next-gen complications. At least we know MachineGames is prepping something great here, not having to cobble together a multiplayer mode.
