	Log in to remove this sponsored message I’m surprised I don’t know the answer to this question, and it seems like it’s impossible to find the answer online so I decided to ask this here. I have Windows 7 64-bit currently installed on my computer. I want to partition the disk and install the 32-bit version too, so that I can run a Dual-Boot system, I need this due to software testing and experimenting which can only be done on the 32-bit version of the OS. My question is can I use the same license key to install the 32-bit version? Or will it deactivate my already in use 64-bit version, despite it being on the same machine, only active in a different session at different times?

	The keys aren't 32/64bit specific so it'll work for installing, technically you're probably not meant to but it shouldn't have any effect on the status of your 64bit system. ------------------- 　／l、ﾞ（ﾟ､｡７　l、ﾞ ~ヽ　じしf_, )ノ

	Have you considered running a Virtual machine? I also am on Windows 7 64bit and I run a number of other operating systems, primarily winxp and win7 32bit. Also tried out Windows 8. You can run multiples simultaneously if the occasion ever arises.

Thanks for your response. I've Dual-Booted these two systems and just to let you know you weren't correct. You in fact do need two Activation Keys.

	PhluXx Just a thought, but that might depend on how you activate. i.e. Using the phone instead of the internet. In the past I installed Windows XP on my PC and installed it AGAIN on the same PC with no issues, then upgraded one of the copies to Vista with an upgrade disc. Worked fine with only the original key. -------------------
